My original headset stopped working for no reason after 3 months of owning it. So far this one is good, but I will not hold my breath. If you can drop the extra cash, get a Turtle Beach brand...

I am sure this is going to be broken again soon where the contacts or cord will become loose or frayed on the inside that it will affect voice transmission or prevent me from hearing others.

Still the best headset available

Obviously if you're looking for a full surround sound headset, then look at the Turtle Beaches or other brands, but if you're like me and have an awesome surround sound home theater system then this will provide you with clear sound with comfy fit.

Good/simplistic

I have Astros but those get hot and heavy and close me off to other people in the room so it's nice to have these for backup. The only downside to these is you can't hear game play in them which most already know before purchasing them. Sound quality on both ends are good quality.

If u have the money to buy the better one do so if not buy it but make sure you buy the insurance with it.

My preferred headset for Xbox one

Easy to use, nice cord, doesn't squeeze your face. Only issue is the sauder on the inside of the Jack itself is weak and can lose the wire sometimes, resulting in a paperweight. So just be kind to it and it'll do just fine.
