Compared to the earbud that came with the ps4 xbox one fans received better headphones than the Xbox 360 even though they do not adjust like the Xbox 360 you can tell they did not hand you a piece of junk and call it a headphone. It did come in my day one edition not sure if it comes in the regular edition.

Its a great little headset for the price I can hear them and they can hear me. Some may be expecting a Bose or Beats type sound and receiver but this is simple and fulfills its purpose. Nice look that corresponds with the Xbox Ones look, as far as fitting the earpiece adjusts up and down and you can also adjust the mic away or closer to your face.

My Grandson wanted it and Santa delivered! He said the mic and speakers are awesome. He hasn't taken it off since.

Wire always breaks have went through 3. Sound is good though. so if your delicate go for it.

This is the only thing you can find right now, they throw it in for free with your Xbox One, and it plugs into the controller. It is free so no complaints. I am not expecting turtle beach quality when they are free, but they are there to do the job! No one has complained about it, and I like the light weight they have. Not too uncomfortable when I game either. For a free pair, they are nice. I'd not pay $25 for a second set though.

This headset is the standard headset since launch. The volume and mute buttons are on the dongle attached to the controller so you can easily mute or change volume without moving your hand too much. Has great quality audio.

I was really disappointed with this product. I truly had high hopes and had read the reviews for this product prior to purchasing online. I had barely used this item for less than 6 months before the product broke down on me. For background, I play my xbox leisurely when I have free time and home from work. I absolutely do not mishandle my controller and make sure put it on correctly and take it right by pulling from the base and not the cord when I need to make an errand in the house. Yet despite my efforts to take care of it after seeing the warnings from the reviews online, my headset STILL broke. The product is able to be plugged in and connected, yet I can only hear other people but not speak in my headset. I have tried all combinations and made sure "mute" was not selected on the control pad but I still had problems. I even brought it over to a friends house to use it without informing him of the issue and he still had the same problem I encountered. As much as I love microsoft product and the enjoyment from playing xbox, their standard headset is an extreme disappointed especially at the price charged for it.

These standard headsets always seem to work for about 1-2 years they are cheap enough to replace each time. When they work it is great you do not have the stereo sound like you would with other higher end models but if you are mostly concerned with communication with friends these are just fine.

i like this headset. wish the cord was longer. the quality for being able to hear someone is amazing. as well as the other person being able to hear you. a bit pricey, as well. but would definitely recommend.

If you're looking to communicate online with your friends this item gets the job done. No fancy features or sound fx during game play so don't expect it.

not the best head set. the addiction of turtle beach headsets will be available for the xbox one later this year. can not complain about this headset when its free with every xbox one. I would not buy it separately though. the sound quality is good for a cheap headset.

Brought so many headphones and for all of them to start messing up due to the wire or something. Found these Xbox ones and no issues so far. Light weight and easy to use.

We bought these for our son and he really like the Microsoft brand.

These are supposed to be Microsoft XBox One replacement set as per the original that came with the XBox One. We have had 4 pair in the last 6 months (since Christmas when we got the XBox One). These go out on very easily. The last pair only lasted 3 days, I returned them to the store and bought a set of Turtle Beach which has been great.

It is easy to adjust the volume. Very good for chat with friends on Xbox Live.

I bought it as a spare headset . It works well and there are not heavy.

Gave to my daughter, she has them on daily talking with friends
