This headset comes with the Xbox one when first purchased, and I had it for 2 years before it gave me problems that is why i bought the same again, it is affordable and does what it needs to do. Sometimes it picks up background noise but for the most part it is well worth the cost if you are just chatting with friends or in multiplayer.

Inexpensive headset system, works as advertised. Could have better construction (light plastic), but for the price, it is adequate.

This headset does what it is supposed to and well however, it feels pretty fragile and unplugging it from the controller can be difficult

The wire pulled out from the controller end but it works well for the price take the best buy insurance for the few $$$ they will replace it

Before purchasing this, I was using a Turtle Beach headset I had gotten for my Wii U. The audio volume was way too low and the build quality was poor. I wanted to get a headset that was just for Xbox One, and saw this one. It was originally included in console bundles, but was taken out once they started offering games in the bundles. For around $30, this is a fantastic relatively cheap option for people looking to chat with their friends online. It feels comfortable and the audio is clear and loud. Having the volume and mute buttons right under your controller is really handy. Can't recommend this enough.

There is nothing fancy or special about the Microsoft - Xbox One Chat Headset but the point is it is relatively inexpensive and it works. Mine has lasted a long time with no issues so if you need a cheap headset that works and will last, this is the one for you.

This headset was purchased for my sons to use with their Xbox One. They are happy with the sound quality when gaming with friends.

These give me the best audio quality since release date, but they do tend to fail. Purchase the insurance. Still my favorite.

Not bad, but serviceable. I am a minimal online gamer, but I just wanted something I could use when I play. They do the job.

Amazing headset. One I always use. I’m not a hard core gamer so I don’t look for a headset for hearing games. So with that being said this is an amazing mic to use for usual online chatting. My favorite part is the mute button over a mute switch so no one even knows when you mute your mic. Easy to use volume adjustment and great voice pickup. Also being one ear I listen to the game through surround sound instead of a tight headset and I’m aware of my surroundings.

Old faithful. These are always great if your old school and hate how the muffs hurt your ears.

I am now on my forth xbox one headset and it's not because I have four controllers. I bought my xbox one last holiday with the Assassin's Creed bundle. Having owned it for well under a year I have had 3 broken headsets and 2 broken controllers. The problem seems to be that all xbox one accessories are just cheaply made and non durable for hardcore gamers. After my first headset broke I took extra care of all my next ones, trying to set them aside somewhere the cord wouldn't get tangled and no one would step on it. Even after taking thee precautions every single mic I've had has broken the same way. The mic piece stops working, it's not the cord, I can still hear through the speaker, the mic piece just breaks and no one can hear me. Happens the same way every time and I know 2 of my friends have had theirs break the same way. Besides the fact that there are expensive wired mics, XB1 has no wireless mic and no other cheap options, so this is what we are stuck with. The best solution I've come up with is buy it once from Best Buy and get the warranty that way each time you replace it, it will only cost about 5 bucks.

A great headset to buy if you don't want to shell out the money for more expensive headsets. This one allows to also hear whats going on around you in the same room. The warranty isn't much to guarantee the product for 2 additional years in case anything happens to it.

Bought for my grandson to play auto raining games with his friends. This headset seems to work fine.
