I switched from a large mechanical keyboard to this to achieve a more minimalistic look. I use a surface book as my primary computer and the layout and keys are the exact same making this very easy to type on. This keyboard would have earned 5 stars if it was rechargeable and backlit, but unfortunately it is neither.

It was a great keyboard but not for me

I understand that the idea behind this keyboard was to be "portable" and for many different devices (ideally a laptop, tablet, and maybe your smartphone as an example), but a keyboard should also be usable. This is not. The keys felt small and cramped together. Plus, after using for only one day, my fingers hurt because there is no travel on the keys. It was like I was just banging my fingers on a hard top or something. And no, I'm not a hard typist. This keyboard might be fine for light use but definitely not qualified as a daily driver.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend Just like the one on surface pro keyboard cover!

I purchase this because I need to switch between Windows and iPad and this works!
