Keyboard and mouse were both laggy and pretty much unusable. You get what you pay for

The END KEYS is sticky. This is the worst keyboard I've ever owned!

The mouse and keyboard do not seem to work well. They skip around even after replacing the batteries.

Very good for the price (I got it at 50% off, normally $40). I'm using it for a desktop in the living room and it's really convenient because the mouse and keyboard both use the same USB stick. The keyboard seems well built too, I've dropped it on the ground 3 times this month and it still works.

My HP keyboard failed after five years. I went to Best Buy, the Microsoft 850 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse set was on sale. Its glossy frame and light plastic construction give it a cheap and flimsy appearance. So, I was surprised and pleased at how nice it feels while typing. The legs give it a nice angle and hold it securely in position. The keys have a "cupped" top that makes it easy to keep your fingers in correct position. It feels like a premium quality keyboard, even if it does not look that great. It has a bit of a "clicky clacky" sound when you are typing fast so it might be a bit annoying to be in a room where five or ten people were all banging away on this keyboard at the same time. The wireless mouse is smooth and precise. I like having a power off switch to save the battery. The fact that batteries were included was a pleasant surprise. When the batteries need replacing, I will use lithium batteries. My guess is that the keyboard will run three or four years on lithium batteries, which is longer than I will have this computer. At the Best Buy sale price, this combination was a real bargain.

This was a great purchase. I’m still using it and it’s been almost seven years now!

I use this set with my MacBook Pro and I honestly can't see any reason at all to use the Apple equivalent. Once you switch the command and option keys in preferences, there is no comparison. Plus the black is much sleeker and elegant. Save $180. Live better.

Works great .... same model as the one that it replaced that I wore out.

I purchased this combo of keyboard and mouse when I added a large monitor for my laptop and made a computer station. The keyboard and mouse have been completely reliable, connected it to multiple different laptops (one laptop at a time of course). The dongle goes into one usb, and both keyboard and mouse work from the one dongle. The batteries last a long time, and I have had no trouble with the units. I bought another set now for a second computer station, and the original set are still going strong. The price is right. This is a quiet, basic unit--if you need an ergonomic setup or something fancy like a gamer keyboard, should check other options.
