If your using a dock for a laptop (connected to a USB), make sure you use a USB port on the other side of the laptop. If not, it will interfere with the wireless functionality. Cons: If your hands get sweaty, the part where you rest your wrists get dirty pretty easily. Currently, the left mouse button get stuck easy, but that could vary per device.

Slimline with drawbacks

There are two glaring problems with the Microsoft 850. The first is the caps lock button. It is easily accidently toggled and there's no indicator light that tells the operator it is on. Secondly, I find that the first letter of a new entry is dropped out. Otherwise the keyboard works adequately.

It's not bad at all for the price. The keys are a little slippery and thin which almost makes it like typing on a laptop. I've had no problems with the wireless function. The mouse is worthless, though. Fortunately I didn't need it. Sometimes the cursor won't move unless it's on a nice mouse pad. I don't use it at all. Good keyboard, though!
