Still worth the hype
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Elite 2 we have purchased. Let me clarify, this is the second one in addition to one already in the household. After purchasing a series X several months ago, my wife got addicted to Fall Guys and a couple other games. One night after I was done playing, I forgot to move mine back to the computer and she started using it, then flat asked me why I bought the good one for myself and left her with the stock Xbox controller. Mind you that I already had one for over a year for PC use. So, after my positive time with one, I decided to get her one too. This controller is amazing and by far the most customizable "pro" controller software wise you can get. While some complain about button issues, I have never encountered this on any that weren't from a resin issue (I mod controllers on the side and this is the most common reason for issues. The resin mold sometimes has excess on it and leaves dust from usage, preventing a click from the A button, and LB/RB. A simple cleaning restores full functionality 99% of the time). Can't wait for the new one from MS coming soon.

Great Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller, much better than the one that came with the Xbox. One thing to notice is that at first it was behaving weirdly with my MacBook and when I connected it to the Xbox it updated and solve the MacBook issues.

A good controller with great software.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, the controller works well. The paddles and extra thumb sticks that are included are a nice plus. Setting the controller up is incredibly easy. The best feature is battery life. I have been using this controller for a year and even while playing 15-20 hours a week I’ll never have to charge it more than once a week. The controller can also be used wired while it’s charging, so you don’t even have down time between charges. The only reason for a 4 star rating versus a 5 is because of stick drift. After maybe 3 months of regular use, I started getting stuck drift in the right analog stick. It has a warranty, and Microsoft will fix it, but you have to send off the controller for who knows how long. For a $200 controller, stick drift should not be an issue. And if it happens outside of the warranty window, you’re stuck with it. Microsoft at the very least needs to sell new pots for the analog sticks that you can replace yourself. With that being said, you can counteract the stick drift by changing your dead zone settings. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and will probably buy another one whenever this one finally bites the dust.

Believe The Hype...Good & Bad
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking to up your game, this controller is for you...but make sure to get extended warranty, or if you're a TotalTech member you're covered. This is my 2nd one, because the good outweighs the bad. OK, the good - it's comfortable, nice weight, very customizable, back paddles easy to use and reach, it's wireless, long lasting battery and great case that can charge, and braided cable the not so good - on my first Elite II the rubberized grips began to unpeel after less than a year, but worse than that, after about 1 1/2 years the RB button began to not work that being said, after about 6 months of not using it, I shopped around for a replacement, the closest competitor was the Thrustmaster Eswap, but it's a wired controller and has 2 buttons on the backside instead of paddles and that tipped the balance in favor of the Elite II I especially recommend this if you are a TotalTech member, you can get it for $159 and if you have any reward points you can get this for close to $120

Xbox elite controller
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Elite controller since it's first iteration and they never disappoint. The only reason I needed a new one is because I made the mistake of letting my son use the other and he raged in Fortnite and slammed it on the desk.

If you like customization, this is for you
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3rd elite controller. This is my 2nd core. After about 18 mos, all xbox controllers experience stick drift if used regularly. This one is no different. The adjustments these allow help diminish the effect over time. Love them and won't use anything else.

Love it, better than SCUF IMO
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly the best controller I have used yet. Even without using the extra buttons and triggers, the weight and size of this controller just feel right. They seem to have resolved the issues we all had with the original Elite controller and offer plenty of customization options with extra sticks and buttons.
