    Top Xbox/PC controller hands down!

I purchased this controller to replace my Wolverine Chroma from Razer. The idea behind the swtich was the integration of this controller and with the NOW ability to map keyboard functions to it. This is a huge win for those who PC game and console game as well. The Razer Wolverine Chroma, a good controller for sure, has no plans to support that mapping feature, which became somewhat of a dealbreaker: Overall, the feel, ease of use , and the profile functions on the controller are top notch and will be sticking with this controller for a long time.

These open box elite controllers are used. People use them for months then bring them back. Look at the buttons and other rubber parts you can se how used they are . Best Buy is misleading. Open box controllers don’t leave the store and havnt been played with games . But a new 1 they are awesome.

Is it expensive? Yes Is it worth it? YES. It's heavy which makes it feel sturdy, the paddles on the back add extra inputs (which I love) and the trigger locks are a godsend for shooters.

Love the design. Ended up buying this one as my original Xbox elite controller was getting old although nothing wrong with it the new controller is great like that the battery is internal however curious on how long the recharge ability will be in the coming years as opposed to swappable batteries

I’ve had this for a month now and It’s the best controller I’ve ever had. I don’t plan on buying paddles, but the handles feel very comfortable and the customization of how far the triggers go makes the experience feel much more snappy

This controller looks great, and feels great. Really nice premium product at a premium price from a fit and finish standpoint, but it seems to have quality issues. Many reviews have reported problems in many areas, and I found some of these problems right out of the box in the first unit that I bought. One of my paddle buttons was almost none responsive it only worked about 20% of the time. I had Bluetooth connectivity issues where I would randomly drop connection mid game, and this happened daily The sticks have a lot of looseness in them, but I think that may actually be apart of the design. However it is not great for performance Returned it and got a new one, and this one seems to be good. The sticks still have a lot of dead one in them , and it does drop Bluetooth signal just like the first one I had sometimes, but I’m starting to think this might be a total design flaw. Over all the design and build quality is great it looks and feels really good. But the issues with many different features is a problem. A premium product should not have these issues straight from the factory

I was a big fan of the elite series one controller and for those who are the same I will leave these comparisons if you're trying to make a decision on whether to buy the new one. The grip has changed from the soft touch to a more textured rubber. I'm not as big of a fan of it but that will be personal preference. The paddles have been improved, previously The originals were so large that I would usually take two off because they would get in the way. They have now shrunk them and shaped them in such a way that I can comfortably hold the controller while leaving all four on. The shape of the controller is still the original and not the newer design of the series X, which is unfortunate because I believe the series X style is a more comfortable fit. There's also no new share button and the profile button cannot be programmed to become the share button. I have yet to experience any stick drift or any of the other common problems that seem to occur with the elites. However, I have only owned this for a month and I never experienced any of those problems on my original. Overall, I believe if you were a fan of the original Elite you will be a fan of the series two.

I bought this after having to Elite Series 2 controllers fail on me in less than 3 years and decided to try the cheaper Core version to save some money. It didn't go well. The right joystick was loose, and the cap not screwed on tightly and the stick spun freely. I was able to hand tighten it but didn't exactly feel confident at that point. I connected the controller and discovered the right stick was drifting badly out of the box, over 17% percent on input tester. Beyond that, the sticks just didn't feel nearly as good as a standard Elite Series 2, the right stick felt like it was grinding on the shell, not the smooth feel of the original, and the joysticks just overall felt cheaper. The whole controller just felt cheaper in general, and I decided not to pick up another one upon returning it. I'm just going for a cheaper controller at this point. I'm sick of having such bad build quality on $130+ controllers.

Maybe I just got lucky but this is the first Elite Series 2 controller I've purchased without button issues right out of the box. After a few attempts to get a working controller through Microsoft's warranty program, I finally decided to just return the $179 version. I saw this $129 controller in store and decided to take one more stab at it, maybe they'd finally resolved their issues. At first glance -- it does appear to work way better than the $179 verison, and it still has all the comfortable heft that the previous controller has. The only downside is that this version doesn't come with the charging case and extra paddles/thumbsticks. On the upside, Microsoft lets you keep the paddles/thumbsticks from the mainline Series 2 controller when replacing under warranty, so I have plenty of those laying around! :D

This controller replaced a white one we had that broke. My son still uses this controller every time he plays his game. I don't know too much about gaming but my son speaks highly of this controller. BUY THE WARRANTY!

So far everything has been on par or better than the series one. great for use both on Xbox one and PC. Haven't personally tried the X,(I haven't been able to get one yet either. You're not alone!) but all the specs say it should work there too! Best part so far is the rubber wont fall off of this model. Unlike the series ones, as the whole case is rubberized. One note, be aware of the cords if you buy off brands later on. the controller itself needs a usb-c input. (The new rounded/oval shaped one.) It comes with all the cords you need though, so not something to worry about right away, but worth knowing that it's not the, used on everything, micro usb like the series one. But it's a better connection for newer machines. So it'll be better for the long run. Outside of fully moving the stick and button positions, (Like some of the wilder custom units.) you can personalize *literally* everything, and you have more variety of thumbstick styles and textures to match what you're actively playing, compared to the series one. It also just has a good feel. It's a simple thing, but it feels solid and well made.

The best Premium and Customizable Controller

A very premium controller with the premium experience to match. While I have a few qualms with the Xbox Accessory Software App that you would utilize the remap the controller's paddles, the controller itself played very well through the various FPS and RPG games I used it for, and I had zero issues setting it up with my computer and with Steam. Would recommend for anyone who wants to really have the most premium customizable controller experience.
