Was a surprising gift
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife surprised me with this controller, after my Elite Series 2 right bumper took a crap on me. My only complaint is that the A button is a little stubborn. Other then that I really like this controller.

Not sure it’s worth the price tag
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this for Call of Duty but it’s not much more useful to me than a standard core controller. I only use 1 paddle for jumping/climbing. The deadzones need to be set at least 0.08 for the drifting to stop (this is a major issue in games where you can’t change the deadzone values.) Having all 4 paddles on is extremly uncomfortable and you’re bound to accidentally reload or swap weapons in a gun fight. Good news is they are removable. I have already had bluetooth issues with it on PC so I keep it plugged in. The trigger locks are kind of cool especially for semi auto weapons. If you find a use for all the features comfortably, this will work for you. I will probably be returning this in January.

For a great time, but not for a long time
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this one after my fist Elite Series 2 started suffering from runaway thumbstick and unresponsive right bumper after 2 years of steady use. Since i already had all the additional accessories from my first controller, there was no need to buy the full set again. I would give this controller 5 stars, but it’s known to suffer from a limited lifespan. Other than that, the feel and performace of the buttons and paddles are still my choice compared to other controllers.

Ok product
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great and sturdy, a few things that would need improvements would be a removable joy stick because they seem to loosen pretty bad and the tightening sometimes its either too tight or too loose

Elite Series 2 is King Of The Kings
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 controllers are *THE BEST* Xbox controllers on the market. Yes a bit pricey but it literally feels like you're bringing a gun to a knife fight. The way it feels & the way it holds up, along with the built in battery makes it the best of the best!

Great so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had other Elite Series 2 controllers and they all broke fairly quickly, so i bought this as a replacement. It's great so far, but if it breaks quickly again I'll update my review

It's great, but overpriced
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it a lot, but I feel like it was overpriced, even though it's being sold as a premium product. I really like the extra buttons on the back, and the fact that you can reprogram all the buttons. The extra long thumb stick is nice for extra precision. It feels good in the hands. It's heavier than the stock controllers, but not so much that it gets tiring to hold. The adjustable trigger travel distance is cool for shooters where you have to react quickly. The rubberized hand grips feel nice and keep my hands relatively cool. It comes with a nice zippered travel case with a built-in charging dock that can be used while it's in the case, or it can be removed from the case and used separately to charge the controller. I don't plan to take this anywhere, but I keep it in the case, next to my TV. I leave it closed, but unzipped, so it's still easy to access, but it keeps it from getting dust on it (I don't get time to play as often as I would like) Overall, if you play a lot of Xbox, it's probably a worthwhile investment.

Digging the new features
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had two original Elite Controllers. I enjoyed the feel and the features but had quite a few issues with the bumpers on my first one and the second one I had started having issues with the left stick drifting a lot. Since I had the warranty plan I brought it back and upgraded to the Series 2, It feels like they upgraded the shape and it feels better than the one. The grips also feel better and seem like they have less chance of peeling off as it did with my first Elite. The shape and placement of the top paddles feel better. My favorite new feature is the extra setting on the triggers. Great for FPS and other games where it's nice to just have a quick click rather than a long pull. I also recommend the Best Buy warranty with a controller this expensive. Sure it's more expensive on an already expensive controller but paying the extra money now is worth it to be able to upgrade to a new controller down the road if needed.

Excellent controller.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really nice to use, even without the additional back paddles. Only real flaw is there isn't a dedicated capture button. Would recommend if you can get it $30+ off.

Best Controller for the money
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great controller, but the one issue it has is drift. The last one I owned had drift, and was unfixable. Bought the same one, as the feel of this one is the best. Hopefully it lasts longer than my previous one.

Stinking Sticking button
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller I purchased was a refurbished one. I love everything about this controller except that the B button gets stuck. Seems to catch under the plastic of controller.

Best controller ever owned -- and most expensive
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using this controller, I can't go back to a regular one! The weight, the texture, the feel is just amazing, and the paddles are great. It oozes premium quality... The interchangeable parts are very useful, but I find myself still using thumb joystick extenders. And the battery lasts SO LONG (easily all month with light use). Is it worth the INSANE price though?.... eek, probably not. This is a guilty pleasure, to be sure. There are also major build quality issues with this controller. Both sets I've owned have had issues with the 'A' button not registering unless pressed perfectly head-on. Considering that's your 'jump' button in most games, you can imagine how annoying that can be. There are lots of posts about this on the internet, and advice on how to fix it using tape/etc. Not something you expect to have to do for such a high-priced, premium piece of hardware.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been hesitant to get this instead of a normal controller because of the cost. After getting it, I am upset that I hadn't done so sooner because I cannot imagine going back to a normal controller after this.
