Microsoft did alot better on this one!!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is a BIG improvement over the first gen Elite Controller!! The buttons are more heavy duty and it just feels better in the hands. I've owned quite a few Elite Series Controllers and have had to replace every one on a regular basis. Either the plug would go bad and the controller wouldnt charge, or the buttons underneath would quickly get nullified and didnt click like a button should. Ghosting was a big issue on the Elite Controller as well. The Elite Series 2 Controller has real button actuation and the ghosting is negligible. Those buttons underneath the controller are so much better than before and the cord input is also a big Improvement. I would recommend this controller over any other modded controller out. I actually have 2 of these controllers, one of which I have had for going on 3 months or so how and everything still works as it should.

Quality controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it when it has sell. I’m very happy with it, premium built. Feel comfort holding in my hand, easily to reach out all the buttons. Doesn’t make my hand sweet for long time gaming. It would be perfect if it comes with the paddles

Fantastic controller with one down side
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the elite v1 for a little over a year before moving to the v2. Overall, the v2 is a much higher quality controller than the v1 with only one downside when compared to the v1. The v1 used a membrane style for its button mechanisms in both the joysticks and the paddles, however the v2 uses more of a clicky button style mechanism. In the v1 the signal pulses consistently, however, in the v2, sometimes the signal stops pulsing which requires me to then reset the button by pressing it again, this behavior never happened to me when i uses the v1. That said, the membrane style in the v1 controller wore out very quickly. The v2 mechanism still feels brand new even though I’ve been playing with it daily since it was released. Finally, if i had to choose between the v1 and v2, given my post above i would still pick the v2 because of the build quality and durability.

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily my favorite game controller out there. Easlily interchangeable with xbox and PC, very long battery life, durable, some customizable parts, and great carrying/charging case. I did have to replace it recently though due to RB button failure. Even with it's extensive use, the failure happened a bit sooner than I expected. These things are pretty well built. Don't think I can ever go back to regular controllers.

3 years 3 Controller XP
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had 3 of these controllers Overall performance is solid but has a desync issue every other day, bumper buttons are the most common to break, stick drift doesnt really occur until 3-4 months of use. Durability is very good, and freedom of button layout is comp asf and very helpful for swapping games. Dont recommend using this for fights games.

Elite Until Broken
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller feels like quality the first time you hold the controller. The grips are comfortable, the interchangeable sticks and D-Pad make you feel that the controller is designed for anyone. The paddles add even more customization than the average gamer knew they needed. With features like this how could this controller be rated any less than a 5 you may wonder. Well lets just say that the experience is "Elite" until the controller falls apart, literally. The Series 2 was my second go at the Elite controllers from Microsoft and at first I fell in love again and forgot how my original elite controller broke. However after nearly a year of using the controller my left stick's button (LS) was no longer operational. I made due by making my paddles the LS and RS buttons and have grown accustom to utilizing those. Then the second fault occurred, my left bumper no longer registered. Now I could've just thrown in another set of paddles to get me by, but the paddles aren't meant to replace broken components. So at the end of the day, the controller truly is a fantastic experience and changes the way I viewed controllers. However I am 0/2 with working Elite controllers, I had insurance on the controller via GeekSquad so I did swap it out for a new one. Just buyer beware on the fragile nature of the controller. Highly Recommend Geek Squad insurance.
