A must have if you are playing at a competative level on console , the paddles are awsome because you get to play more effeciently and the controller feels very premium

The grip makes it easier to hold for me. I have physical challenges that can make holding a controller difficult. The textured grips really help. The mappable back buttons make all the difference. My hands are small, so it can be hard to move all around the controller. The back buttons help me manage longer play-time.

This controller is a big improvement over the original Elite with the built in battery pack, and enhanced D-pad. The only thing I had to make modifications to are the paddles on the back because my hands are big and I wasn't able to hold the controller normally, so I ordered a duplicate set of paddles and used the shorter sets for top and bottom. I took it a step further and trimmed about 1/4 inch off the top paddles and now it's perfect. It's unfortunate that Microsoft didn't offer a couple different variants of paddles for people with larger hands, but it's still a solid controller and worth every penny.

I really like this controller it feels like it’s made with a high standard of quality. I love all its features like how you can customize the thumb sticks and D-pad and that they are made of metal, not plastic. The battery for me last a long time, I just charged it the first time since it’s initial charge the other day, though I don’t play everyday, so it last pretty long even with vibration on. But the overall build quality is excellent nice rubber grips, metal sticks, and sturdy plastic. This controller when compared to the new Series X controller makes the X feel cheap.

Nice solid controller like msot of the elite series has been. Gotta be super careful never to get a drop of water on it or itll be done for. The texture on the grip isnt my favorite in the least. Used this for a couple years, but glad i got the Envsion Pro for my PC.

A lil pricey but worth it. I got what I look for. I'm a happy dude.

Great controller just love the adjustable triggers

I do love these controllers even if theyre sold at a lessened price for not having the extra accessories. They work really well with comfort grips and access to many functions despite not being sold with the aforementioned accessories. I do hope this one lasts because elite controllers are infamous for not having a long shelf life.

I cannot express how much I enjoy this controller. If you're looking to get a high end, customized gaming experience then this is a no brainer. The controller has nice weighty feel to it and the buttons have a good tactile sensation. It takes a little bit to figure out the button mapping features and customization but once you do it's a dream. The best part is the battery life, this thing can go for hours upon hours before needing a charge. The charging cradle works incredibly well and I've had no issues with the contacts. All in all if it's something you're willing to spend the money on you will not regret this purchase

This "Microsoft - Elite Series 2 Core" wireless controller is the best I got in my hands so far. Absolutely smooth and precise handling. You can adjust pretty much anything you want to optimize your gameplay. The two triggers can also mechanically be adjusted to your needs. Outstanding quality!

So far, working well nice to not have to buy so many batteries.

I would definitely give this controller 5 stars if this was the first Elite controller you purchased. I wouldn’t rate it 5 stars if you already have the first model. A few definitely marked improvements; my favorites being the anti slip grip, the shortened paddles on the back, and the 3 customizable settings. If you have the first version, I could argue on not getting this one and hopefully waiting for a 3rd version (you know there will be another). First time buyer; I’d recommend it. Already have the first; I’d wait, unless your wallet is burning a hole in your pocket and you would also want the aforementioned features.

If you have a regular Xbox controller, put it down and go get your hands on an elite. You’ll never want to pick up another controller again. The craftsmanship alone changes your game. The quality of this controller feels amazing! Not to mention all the quality of life changes they’ve made to the series 2! Better textured grip, more profile customization, the ability to fine tune your stick sensitivity and not to mention never having to change the batteries again! With 40 hrs of charge time just sit back and enjoy your game and when your done, just place that bad boy right back in the case to charge it up again. What are you waiting for?
