This is a great improvement from the original elite controller. The grip is extended from just the backing to the front, back, and triggers. The multi-stage trigger locks were surprisingly more helpful. The controller also has more software settings and setting “slots”. Two biggest improvements to me are the new paddles which are a bit smaller making it less cumbersome to use all four and of course the integrated rechargeable battery pack takes the cake. Definitely a top shelf controller!

This controller has the best build quality of any controller of all time. The weight feels excellent in the hand and the wrap around grips make the feel even better. The paddles have a new feel to them that the original elite controller did not have and it feels great. The whole controller immediately feels more precise and quality than the regular xbox controller. This is completely worth it if you have the money.

I really enjoy video games so having this is more like a “collectors” item. I love that the controller is customizable. However, it’s not a must have. If you play COD/HALO/PUBG etc it could be useful. Parents, if you don’t have the money to spend on this, try and reason with your child before purchasing.

This controller is super nice. It feels nice and I like it much better than the PS5 Edge controller.

Bought as a gift as i own one too and the customization is out of this world for this controller.

I have the Series 1 and this is def an improvement, it feels heavier to me. Also the wireless/plugless charging makes it so much better than the series one. It also feels tighter to me, could be a placebo. Using it on my XBox Series XX with no issues. Best to get this when it goes on sale as the price is steep. Should be included as an upgraded option when you purchase the new X Box Series X. This is really for those who need it not your average gamer to be quite honest.

The controller is good. Plagued with issues of buttons not responding, triggers failing, stick drift but when it works it works well. I have one and my son has one. Mine still works great. My sons is another story.

I had the original elite controller and I am very pleased with the elite 2 controller. Many more features to the elite 2 than was offered for the elite 1. Have the ability for 3 different controller presets at the touch of a button for different games you play or just variations of your favorite game controls

Good product inline with all of the other Xbox controllers. Remarkably well built and the rubber grips are a pleasant addition as is the inbuilt battery. Overkill for normal gaming but totally worth it as a gift item for someone who enjoys gaming.

If you really into gaming and want a better handling feel and configurability, then this is the only option for you.  The materials are much nicer than the standard. The triggers and buttons have a much more better feel. The extra configurability Menu is a great plus as well.

Great controller, has a nice weight to ot that gives it that high quality feel. Trustworthy. Durable. Fun.

Got it as a gift for a friend of mine on christmas, and it still works perfectly to this day.

Way better than normal controllers. Love the triggers. The only thing is that after a while the buttons start to fail and get stick drift.

Definitely a sturdier and better feeling version of the Elite Controller than its predecessor, but these controllers still do tend towards defects and issues. You will not regret getting this controller, it's incredible, but you will regret not getting it with a replacement plan. Do yourself a favor and experience this amazing controller with the peace of mind of knowing that if something happens you can replace it.

The only downside does not come with rear bumpers. Other than that, it is still worth the upgrade.
