It's great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned it for a little bit now and I haven't had any issues with it, I use this controller a lot on my PC and my Xbox and it's great having a rechargeable controller that I know won't run out of battery.

Quality Build
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this controller is excellent for PC gamers. Amazing build quality and minimal customization on triggers and thumbsticks make it an amazing controller for all types of games! I would definitely buy another one but i’m sure I wont need to!

I’m a pro
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since I have an elite controller, my competitive level went so high. It’s difficult to get use to the pads, but when you do, you destroy noobs. You must buy the geek squad protection, so you can exchange it if it’s not working

Just Buy It!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hesitated for the longest time as whether to pick this up since, yes, it is a bit pricey. However, I have no regrets having owned now for several months. Very premium feel to it from the grips, buttons, triggers...just all around. I have had family members who have gone on to buy it after having used mine. Quality also feels solid so I'm hoping it will give me a few years of usage!

Stick Drift Persists
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm writing this in July, 2020. I bought the controller the week it came out and I'm now awaiting my second controller after using the extended warranty I purchased. The reason: Stick drift. This is an issue that came up with the original Elite and I figured the MS engineers maybe fixed it. Maybe not. The controller is truly fantastic. It's heavy, has excellent options for programming/customization, and has a lovely, tactile feel. But don't buy it without the protection plan. Without the drift, this controller would be the best out there and I still love it. The specific drift I'm dealing with is on the left analog stick. I returned it and the BB rep, also an Elite user, immediately recognized it and helped me out, so 5 stars for the great customer service. I'd love to blame AC: Odyssey for causing the problem because if you've never played this game, you'll put lots of hours in pressing up on the left stick. But that's not enough reason for a $180 controller to fail. Buy the protection plan and enjoy the controller with the understanding that if you're willing to pay this much, you need the extra insurance to protect your investment.

Couldn't imagine the difference
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a hard time believing that a controller could possibly be worth what is charged for the elite. After having several friends insist on trying it out I took the leap. I liked it so much I got a second as a Christmas gift for a family member. It feels great in the hands. Is very responsive. Honestly this should be the standard controller. The regular ones feel like a joke after this.

Great Controller for Call of Duty
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best controller I’ve gotten in a while! I was hesitant to spend the money for a controller but it was definitely worth it as it is so easy to customize to the kind of player you are. The detachable thumb sticks and paddles are easy to customize for crouching quickly and moving fast in the COD game. The case is sturdy and charging is simple and fast. From what I can read you’ll also be able to use this controller for the upcoming Xbox system so worth the purchase!

Elite controller core review
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller but i would like it to come with both d pads ( standard one and faceted one). I prefer the standard ( square d pad) so i got one and swapped out the faceted d pad and its great. So thats why 4 stars.

Elite. Expensive. Still worth it.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second elite controller. The first lasted almost 2 years before getting crushed in a suitcase, but it was perfect the entire time. Long battery life, great performance. Love the solid feel compared to the lighter stock controller.

Not for Beginners
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Adaptive and fun controller. It is not recommended for the novice or occasional player. After about a month of play, one of the sticks malfunction and began exhibiting phantom momements. Eventually exchanged it under the total care plan for a replacement. Fingers Crossed!

It’s all about the grips.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After burning through three elite controllers in as many years thanks to their rubberized grips coming undone, I’m hopeful this new design holds. There is a seam on the inside now, but the stress bubble portion of the outer grips is now solid. I do like the feel of the new triggers better, but my previous ones never gave out so I can only say it’s a minor improvement. Loved my old elites, so if the grips hold up now, I’m sure to love these. So far, really like them.

Good controller, expensive and with a flaw
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the controller is quite good, albeit very expensive. The shorter paddles that require more pressure to activate is a huge much needed improvement. The 3 levels of trigger locks is nice as is the 3 different on controller profiles. As for the adjustments of the thumb stick stiffness, I don't think this is a feature most people will use and is more of a gimmick. The biggest issue for me is the grip material used on the controller. The grip material actually slippery. This is something that everyone complains about. I don't understand why Microsoft used a slipper material. If you can handle the slipperiness of the controller it is an excellent controller. For me the slippery grips is too much for a controller of this price and is why I will be returning the controller.
