Its been a month and Ive def noticed some wear and tear but over all its functional still. Id give it 5 stars cause its such a good controller but for 200 dollars id expect it to be a bit more durable so ill give it 4.

The controller is solid, except for the slight stick drift which I assume is a product of my mishandling of the controller not a fault of the controller itself. The software however is terrible and left my controller unable to be customized for a few months while I waited on an update to roll out.

Best Controller for Xbox by far just make sure to get insurance because the Series 2 does experience RB button failure.

I had bought the elite 2 when the Xbox series X was released as I play Microsoft flight sim on my Xbox (when I can and it’s not crashing to the desktop). The battery died so I had to get a replacement. I’ve had to this controller and I like it better then the black elite series 2. It’s cheaper for go for it. Nothing beats the Skuf controllers.

Definitely recommend. I’ve had a couple of these controllers over the years and will keep one as long as I have a Xbox. The controller weighs just a little bit more but it feels great actually feels like it has value. Battery life is very nice as well.

I had the 1st gen and unlike many, never had any problems at all. Played a lot of hours and eventually wore out the coating on a thumb stick. This is similarly nice and expensive feeling but has usb c for faster/easier charging and it also has Bluetooth. This is especially nice for use with a PC because you don’t need that adapter that older Xbox One Controllers needed to pair with a gaming computer. It will also work with the upcoming Xboxes for this fall so your purchase is future proof.

High quality, well made. Switch from ps5 controller to this, took a while to get used to.

This is a great improvement from the original elite controller. The grip is extended from just the backing to the front, back, and triggers. The multi-stage trigger locks were surprisingly more helpful. The controller also has more software settings and setting “slots”. Two biggest improvements to me are the new paddles which are a bit smaller making it less cumbersome to use all four and of course the integrated rechargeable battery pack takes the cake. Definitely a top shelf controller!

This controller has the best build quality of any controller of all time. The weight feels excellent in the hand and the wrap around grips make the feel even better. The paddles have a new feel to them that the original elite controller did not have and it feels great. The whole controller immediately feels more precise and quality than the regular xbox controller. This is completely worth it if you have the money.

I've already made an exchange to this controller once due to the A button working sometimes, and I may have to do it again. It's almost as if you have to press the button with a bit more force for confirmation, which is a no go for me. I googled this issue, and others are having similar problems. I didn't get the Best Buy warranty the first purchase, but got it after my first exchange because I don't want to take a chance with a $180 controller that was poorly made. I highly recommended the warranty, or just wait for Microsoft to improve this product. On a side note, the original Elite Series was perfect, and it still works despite the joystick cover wearing off after years of use.
