However it tends to wear fairly easily. The buttons/connections wear out and can’t be used after some time, forcing you to use the built in paddles. Then the paddles wear out and you can’t use them. If you buy this controller I HIGHLY recommend getting the protection plan for it.

The paddles feel better and being able to adjust stick tension is a nice improvement. Textured triggers are better as well. Hopefully no build quality issues like the first one.

I’ve had both the dual shock and a custom scuf controller and I still love the series 2 controller. Their magnetic paddles and removable parts are great designs.

Pros: - rechargeable long lasting battery - paddle sticks - exchangeable sticks Cons: - weight - can tend to cause some hand strain given location of paddles ( for me at least)
