    Amazing Controller

This controller has been through hell with the amount of times it has been dropped, but I still have no stick drift and it works amazing. The feel of the controller in your hands is equivalent if not better than a scuff controller. If you are debating between an Elite controller vs a Scuff, definitely buy this because a scuff controller will get stick drift after 2-3 drops, and is very fragile. For reference I have really huge hands and it doesn’t seem to effect the feel of the controller in my hand at all.

I bought this controller through Best Buy after my previous one started to drift. Even with increasing the dead zone and doing all the updates it continues to drift. Looking online it looks like this is a very frequent issue. However, the one I bought has no issues thus far, and even if it does I have a warranty so I’m not too worried. Overall the one I have currently has had not issues and I enjoy the custom button mapping, hair triggers, and back paddles.

This is the best official controller Microsoft has to offer. I love the weight and feel. Only that’s missing his Hall effect sticks. I bought open box and it was missing the tension adjustment tool so I took off 1 star.

I had recently bought the Xbox elite controller as well as the PlayStation Pro and the Xbox elite controller is far superior in quality, feel, and it came with an awesome (also high quality) magnetic charging unit that you can dock the controller on when not in use. I don't want to use any controller other than the Xbox elite- which I use for my PC. This luxury controller truly feels as such. 10/10. Don't hesitate to buy.

Good but not as good as you think

The elite 2 core is a good controller, but it has a different feeling than the Elite 2 in general. Mind you, I bought the Elite 2 in 2019, and it was completely rubberized, the buttons had a very premium feel to them and such. The core, doesn’t quite have that feeling. The buttons feel good, but not the same as my old controller. That could be because Microsoft lowered their quality for everything, or it’s the because the core is their “budget” version of the elite. Or it could be they just redesigned things in those past 6 years, who knows. Either way, it does the job very well, it just feels a bit different. Mind you, for $130, I expected it to be much better!

Best controller I ever had ... I meant that , I never wanted to spend the amount of money for a top of the line elite series 2 but this fit my exact need and played better than anything ever before . I hit the perfect sweet spot . Not to mention , Best Buy had a sale at the time , so it was a beautiful experience, top to bottom .

Really enjoyed this controller. Love that you can change the sensitivity and do multiple profiles. Even though it’s been out for a while it’s definitely worth it if you game often. Is heavier that the standard controller which I personally really like. Feels comfortable in my hands even when gaming for long periods of time. Also worth it that it comes with a hard cover case that can charge. Along with the standing charger. It’s heavier but love that it’s sturdy fits perfectly on a desk. Honestly for what you pay for you are getting a lot.

One of the best controllers I’ve ever owned for my Xbox Since 2019. The extra buttons and paddles made my gaming experience so much easier and enjoyable, especially with mechanics being a lot more complex than it was a decade ago. Addition with different profiles, I’m able to switch depending on the game I was playing whether it was Fortnite, call of duty or rocket league this controller did it all. For the price, I say it’s worth it with the functionality that it brings compared to the standard Xbox controller.

The Elite Series 2 Core Wireless Controller for Xbox Series is a game-changer. The premium feel and comfortable design make it a pleasure to use during long gaming sessions. The quiet operation of the buttons and triggers enhances the experience, adding a subtle touch of quality. Customization is a key feature—interchangeable thumbsticks and a precise D-pad let me tailor the controller to my playstyle, while the adjustable thumbstick tension adds a competitive edge. The wireless connection is flawless, providing lag-free gaming with no connectivity issues. The long-lasting battery is a welcome bonus, and the durable, ergonomic design ensures hours of comfortable play. Plus, the sleek look with its matte finish adds a professional touch to my Xbox setup. Overall, the Elite Series 2 Core is the perfect balance of comfort, customization, and performance—a must-have for any serious gamer.

    By far best controller out!

I have the original Xbox elite controller and absolutely loved it. Still not a single issue with it besides the grips starting to peel but that’s after a couple years. The new elite series 2 feels so good in the hands and the fact that the battery is built in makes it even better. All the options of fine tuning to you’re liking is incredible for whatever games you play. I don’t have full use of my right hand in my pinky and ring finger so a controller like this with the paddles on the back make it easier for multitasking while gaming.

These come with tons of options for customization as far as your gaming style! They work super great and I have had 0 issues as far as connectivity and stick drift. I wish they were more sturdy one drop and the its opening at the edges. The magnetic joysticks and dpad are super cool but for me stronger magnets would be appreciated. Because that one drop, makes them pop off, sometimes found like a year later!

I stick by the elite controllers, they have an amazing hand feel and the paddles on the rear are in absolute perfect positioning for my hands - biggest reason I keep returning to them, I can’t game without them now it’s almost like you forget they’re there and it just becomes a regular button that naturally integrated. My only complaint is the bumpers- the elite controllers are notorious for having the bumpers go out after a year or two ( and the grips start popping off, but some precision super glue or adhesive and it’s like nothing ever happened ) so you do end up needing to replace them every couple years - I’m on my 4th elite controller since the very first gen 1 elite controller release.

    Great Xbox Elite Controller Replacement

I bought this controller to replace a previous Elite Controller that succumbed to severe stick drift and a battery that wouldn’t hold a charge. I wasn’t looking forward to paying full price for an Elite controller, so was very glad to find this one. It doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles of my previous controller but i didnt really need them since those same accessories and case from my previous controller all wotk with this one. I also wasn’t sure if i liked the white on black color scheme but it really works and this controller feels just as sold as my old one. Very pleased with this purchase.

The Elite Series 2 Core is a fantastic middle ground for serious gamers who want high-end performance without the full cost of the original Elite. The build quality is excellent—solid, comfortable, and responsive. The textured grips and adjustable tension thumbsticks make a noticeable difference in precision, especially in competitive shooters and racing games. It’s fully compatible with Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, PC, and cloud gaming setups. While it doesn’t include the paddles or extra accessories out of the box, you can upgrade later with the component pack if needed. Battery life is strong, and the USB-C charging is fast and reliable. If you want a premium feel and customizable performance without going all-in on the full Elite bundle, the Core version delivers where it counts.
