Overall the controller is quite good, albeit very expensive. The shorter paddles that require more pressure to activate is a huge much needed improvement. The 3 levels of trigger locks is nice as is the 3 different on controller profiles. As for the adjustments of the thumb stick stiffness, I don't think this is a feature most people will use and is more of a gimmick. The biggest issue for me is the grip material used on the controller. The grip material actually slippery. This is something that everyone complains about. I don't understand why Microsoft used a slipper material. If you can handle the slipperiness of the controller it is an excellent controller. For me the slippery grips is too much for a controller of this price and is why I will be returning the controller.

Best controller ever. I've used the series 1 and other normal controllers. These one is hands down amazing. Grip around the whole thing. Rechargeable battery that can dock inside the case with the charger coming in through the back. Adjustment tool to loosen or tighten the sticks. 1/4 pull on the triggers instead of a half pull. Whole thing feels sturdy with a nice weight to it. How many normal controllers have you purchased? 2 or 3? Could of bought this and definitely should. Stop buying crappy controllers.

Great controller, recommend for first person shooter games.

So far, I can say I really enjoy this controller. It fixed many of the minor issues with the elite 1. The controller itself is the size of the average Xbox one controller. The grips feel natural and don't get in my way. The paddels, even though I don't use them, seem like they would be comfortable for someone who uses them. The battery lasts an incredible amount of time before it needs a charge, which can be charged in the case with the attached usb-c cable. Overall, I am happy I bought the elite 2, which is worth the money.

Non-gamer here. It was hard to understand why we needed to upgrade to the elite controller until I held each and felt the difference. I've watched enough game play to see how intense the play can be, so now I can also understand why having some of the features would help. So instead of having to buy a new basic controller every 3-4 months because of the wear and tear, we'll invest in this and see it last a lot longer

This controller is amazing. I was very skeptical at first of paying over $200 for a controller (with the warranty), but this is the best controller I've ever owned. The grips, additional paddles, interchangeable joysticks and D-pad are fantastic. There are so many customizeable features about this and it feels like a premium product. You can tell that Microsoft put a lot of work into this controller design. I'd encourage others to purchase one unless you're holding out for next-gen controllers.

Always a great deal with the open box items. Have used this same buy for my last two controllers, easily a year minimum of heavy use, sometimes 2 years

My son had been asking for this controller for a while and though I don't quite understand all the different things it does he was thrilled when he opened this up on Christmas. It was his favorite present and he has been enjoying it since.

Great controller! The extra paddles underneath, the ability to shorten the triggers pull is a game changer, and most of all being able to set and button to a different one is a real game changer. Only reason its not 5 stars is the reliability. This is my 3rd one, since the LB and RB buttons can break easily. Thats why i gave it a 4 star

Awesome controller for FPS games and I am sure a plethora of other games. It is very customizable and I can't go back to playing games without back paddles. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the right thumbstick had stick drift from day 1 but I knew to expect this and bought the protection plan. It was actually covered by the manufacturer warranty and already got a new one.

Battery lasts days, everything is as promised and better. Buttons feel great, grip is amazing doesn’t feel and the controller doesn’t feel broken or cheap. You’ll know you’re holding an amazing piece of technology. Only problem is that I have had it for half a year and the bumpers are already broken, would be a huge issue but I purchased the warranty. Everyone else beware of your controller breaking easily.

I love the customization of it, rubber grips feel better than I thought they would, the paddles are a nice addition especially for jumping in games. Very high build quality. I would buy another if I needed to.

Excellent grip, customizable via hardware and software which is very unique and helpful, various options for sticks and pads and triggers, and the warranty is by far the best warranty I have ever received. Would HIGHLY recommend for PC or XBOX gaming

the control its good but after 1 year and 6 months the lb Botton not work the skin star unglued plus I has problem before with another Botton but that was under the warranty not now, for the price I payed its not good, they should extend the warranty for 2 years.

super comfortable controller but my only issue, which it very well could be only mine, is that the A button has a deadzone on the bottom of it so I have to press it a bit more cautiously. Other than that, it is fantastic.

I had the original elite and that controller was my absolute favorite of all time so hopefully this one serves me just as well. The back paddles are by far the best ergonomically and the added charging dock is a nice addition over the original as well as the added trigger step and new color scheme. I literally can't go back to regular controllers anymore.

No issues so far a lot of the problems I see with people online is that they manhandle there controllers. If you spend 170 for a controller treat it like a Baby

One of the best controllers you could pay for. The weight really makes a difference. Really feels great in the hands.

Great controller however I have had to repair it myself a couple of times due to dust build up on certain buttons but very straight forward the customization of it is unbeatable.

Bought this for easy pc gaming, connected with no issues and feels great to use. There is an app in the microsoft/windows store app that lets you update the firmware and gives you customizable options and profiles. Only gripe with it was that i had to find out about the firmware and profiles through a youtube video.
