It WAS great.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, this is a great controller, but it still has insidious defects. Purchased in July of 2020, and now 5 months in, the left joystick drifts constantly. After further research I discovered that Microsoft has begun manufacturing a “improved” version of the same controller (model FST-00008) versus the FST-00001 version. The model I received is the latter. Most people who have purchased this seem to be experiencing the same issues. I have the Best Buy protection plan, and intend on replacing this controller when Best Buy gets it back into stock, and am hoping for the newer version.

Amazing controller! Inconsistent Manufacturing.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I understood why people love this control the instant I put it in my hand. It feels premium. After playing with it for two weeks, it began to feel natural; my hand was adapting to the new trigger buttons. Unfortunately, the right trigger began to give-way and the spring was making a squeaking sound. The standard face buttons also didn’t register every time I press them. I returned it. Thankfully it was within the return period. I now also understand the issues of this controller. The manufacturing for these controllers isn’t consistent. I purchased a new controller that arrived today and i hi opefully I can leave a better review in the coming weeks and months.

Great alternative to a Scuf.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 controller is an excellent alternative to the much more expensive Scuf Instinct controller. The only negative about this controller is the amount of stick drift you can get.

Great controller!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven’t had it for long but works great. If you want a scuff type controller that works perfect and is programmable on the Xbox through the settings page. Highly recommended. But definitely get the geek squad warranty as other people have said it can break and Microsoft doesn’t corporate well with the 1 year warranty it comes with through them.

Nice premium controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice hand feel, reserve side buttons a nice touch. Feels good in hand even after a couple hours of sweaty palms. Comes with extras like a charger, but not really needed.

Hands down the best controller for the Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pricy, but worth it if you spend a significant amount of time on the console. Sized and weighted perfectly 9may be small for those with large hands, though)! Paddle controls can take some getting used to and will occasionally cause issues with unintended hits on a given paddle. Swappable user controls and configurability are outstanding!

Connection issues, stick and buttons false presses
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to love this controller but can’t. I had to sell it. I had issues with 2 controllers so far. Never had any issues with gen 1. Gen 2 issues: - Random disconnects - Double press on buttons I would still recommend it since it’s a great upgrade form the original controller

Amazing Accessory
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an amazing controller! It is fully customizable and you can switch and put the buttons that attach magnetically in any way you like. The triggers have grip as well and the remote is built with high quality materials. It is a bit heavier than other controls but its worth the money

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Extremely happy with this controller, gave 4 stars instead of 5 simply because of how different the paddles were from the first elite controller. It took some time to get used to after using the original elite controller for years. Definitely worth the upgrade to the series 2.

Nice improvements
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.love the controller had the original elite. The improvements are very welcome. Have the add ones like bluetooth, adjustable analog tension ,.rechargeable battery , amd the paddles feeling better then the original. The only issue I have with the controller is the price tag.

The best premium controller out there.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not without its faults, this controller is the ultimate package compared to anything else out there. It will take your shooter game and kick it up several notches. Mine had a sticky “A” button, but after 1,000 presses or so, it was normal. These controllers are known to have suspect life spans, so I’d recommend the warranty.
