Best Xbox controller for the S system. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it. I have dropped it many times and not a scratch or dent on it. Got grips and extra buttons to customize. Definitely getting one for each of my kids

I really like the controller. Makes you a better player because you can change up what buttons do what. Dislike is its a little heavy.

Well worth it if you plan to use all the features. One thing i would strongly recommend is the geek squad warranty. Trust me on this one. Its worth the cost for peace of mind.

I had the series 1 and loved it, I had originally bought it because I was breaking the regular controls in month. The elite controller proved to be very durable and the custom-tailored buttons make it far superior. With all of that being said the series 2 knocked it out of the park.....

If you want a controller that feels like something a pro gamer would use, this is it. Very comfortable, and has support for additional inputs and interchangeable joysticks and D-Pad. However, my LB button is already breaking within a year of use. It still responds, but I have to put additional effort into pressing it. Also, the clips/magnets on the back that hold the pedal buttons break easily. It’s great while it lasts, so hopefully Microsoft invests in sturdier materials. This is an expensive item for something that breaks down quickly.

Great response time. Best overall controller I've use. Only negative is the weakness of the handles to a strong handed person such as myself. I can pop the casing with a squeeze.

So far, the controller is excellent. It has a good weight, balance, and feel to it when compared to the non-elite controller. I also got the warranty per the recommendation of numerous sources.

This controller is like something from a sci-fi movie. The case that it came in itself charges the controller. It's built like a tank, very sturdy, but light weight. Easy to hold for those long hours of gaming. I highly recommend buying this for the gamer in your life.

The customization this controller allows will take your gaming to the next level. The build quality makes it feel like it should cost much more than it does and I am still finding new ways to make it my own after several months. Don’t miss out!

I don’t know if it’s worth 180, but hands down the best controller I’ve used. It feels real good in your hands, and customizing the thumb sticks feels great. I use it on my pc and I had to buy the Xbox Bluetooth adapter

This controller feels great in the hand, has excellent features (hair triggers and custom profiles) and excellent accessories but has one massive dealbreaker. It won’t register 1 out of every 5-10 button presses. Initially I thought it was my fault. “Maybe I’m still acclimating to the new controller and not pressing the button properly”. I know that’s a stupid thought but when you buy a $100+ controller, surely that can’t be the source of the problem. Well, it is. Google it. You’ll see it’s widespread and there’s no fix. Microsoft support will tell you to update the controller firmware. That’s nice but never once had that made the problem less noticeable. If you bought directly from the Microsoft store you’ll be able to send it back to them for a warranty replacement. That’s good I guess.. but should there really be so many forum posts about replacing $100 peripheral? Ok, so how bad is a few missed key presses? Do you play shooters? Imagine doing everything right and taking your time to set up an ambush only to get wrecked because your controller literally said “ lol what?” My recommendation, skip this altogether and spend money on a ps4 or xb1 controller and use them with the usb cable. They’re lightweight, familiar in the hand and they’ll listen to you.

Bought this one for my son as a gift and he has not stop using it. The quality and ability to modify it is incredible

Series 2 Elite controller is much better that the original. while the grips are a bit slippery when you first pick it up it much better than the old grips that fell off within a month. heads up accessories from the first elite controller are not useable with the series 2.

Great controller but very easy to break I’d say. I’ve had them for awhile but starting to notice some defects in under a year. Paddles help a lot for competitive gaming though.

I love this thing hands down. I love the button mapping and the customization of this thing. It’s awesome.

Bought this controller about two months ago - zero issues yet. The amount of different customizations lets you really adapt your gameplay to any setting.
