Top-tier controller with premium feel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Elite Series 2 Core controller delivers a fantastic gaming experience. The textured rubber grips feel great in hand, the buttons and sticks are responsive, and the battery life is impressive. Setup on Xbox and PC was seamless. The only caveat is the price — but if you’re serious about your gaming, this controller is a worthy investment. Highly recommend.

Worth Every Penny now I cant blame the controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’ve ever rage-quit a game and muttered, “It’s the controller’s fault,” then this Microsoft Elite Series 2 is for you. Spoiler alert: It’s not the controller’s fault anymore. This thing is so good it’ll make you realize you were the weak link all along. First off, the build quality is incredible. This isn’t just a controller; it’s a work of art. It feels premium in your hands—like holding the gaming equivalent of a luxury car steering wheel. The rubberized grip and weight balance make it clear this isn’t some run-of-the-mill gamepad. It’s like Xbox said, “Let’s make something so good, people will willingly eat ramen for a month to afford it.” The customization options are next-level. Adjustable thumbstick tension? Check. Swappable parts? Check. Hair-trigger locks that make you feel like a sharpshooting legend in Call of Duty? Double-check. I even mapped the paddles on the back for quicker actions, and now my reaction time feels borderline supernatural. (Okay, maybe not supernatural, but at least I can reload without taking my thumb off the stick.) The battery life is ridiculous. I gamed for an entire weekend without charging it, and it still had juice left. I started wondering if it runs on magic. And don’t even get me started on the carrying case with a built-in charger—it’s like Xbox is saying, “You deserve to feel fancy.” Is it expensive? Sure. But you know what? The moment you hold it, you won’t care. This isn’t just a controller; it’s an investment in happiness. The precision, the feel, the performance—it’s all worth every dollar. Now, instead of blaming my controller for my bad aim, I just scream at the screen, “That’s on me!” And honestly, that’s priceless. If you’re serious about gaming (or just want to feel like you are), do yourself a favor and buy this. You won’t regret it.

The Ultimate Controller for Precision Gaming!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the Microsoft Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from Best Buy, and it’s hands-down one of the best gaming investments I’ve made! The premium build quality instantly stands out—its weight and textured rubberized grips feel sturdy and comfortable, perfect for long gaming sessions without any slip. The customizable features are a dream for any gamer. With interchangeable thumbsticks, D-pads, and four back paddles, I can tweak it to fit any game, from shooters to racing titles. The Xbox Accessories app makes button mapping and profile switching a breeze, letting me save up to three custom setups for quick changes on the fly. Performance-wise, it’s flawless. The adjustable-tension thumbsticks and hair-trigger locks give me pinpoint accuracy and faster response times, which have noticeably upped my game in competitive titles. The 40-hour battery life is a huge plus—no more worrying about recharging mid-session—and the included USB-C cable and charging dock keep things convenient. Whether I’m playing on my Xbox Series X, PC, or even via Bluetooth on other devices, the connection is seamless with zero lag. This controller is a total powerhouse for anyone serious about gaming!

Pricey, but good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really happy with this controller so far! The feel is solid — nice grips, good weight, and it just works. I love being able to tweak sticks and triggers, and the rechargeable battery lasts me through long sessions. Setup was easy via USB-C or Bluetooth, and it’s great on both Xbox and PC. Only minor thing: it’s a bit pricey, and if you’re after paddles or extras you’ll need to spend more. Overall though, well worth it if you’re serious about your game.

Xbox elite controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I play FPS and sometimes I get stuck drift after a year or so. It's great to have insurance on Best Buy's products and the replacement is always super smooth and easy. Best controller hands down.

Great improvement over the elite 1
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the elite 1 controller since release and must say the elite 2 has some improvements that caught my eyes, the joystick can finally be adjusted and they no longer bouncing back and forth like the elite 1.

Awesome controller
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say this controller is the GOAT of controllers, never had any stick drift issues, the battery last weeks if not months no issue and I'm a heavy gamer. Well built and cant take a good fall or two. connectivity is not a issue with this controller and I connect it to multiple devices and it always works. I cant see MS coming out with a 3 sine this one hits all the check marks TBH.

The controller that likes being manhandled
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If a regular Xbox controller is a trusty sedan, the Elite Series 2 is a fully loaded sports car with heated seats, adaptive suspension, and a smug sense of superiority. From the moment you pick it up, it whispers, “You deserve better.” The rubberized grips feel like they were designed by a team of ergonomic wizards who moonlight as hand therapists. The swappable thumbsticks and paddles? Pure modular joy — like LEGO for grown-up gamers with commitment issues. Battery life clocks in at a ridiculous 40 hours, which is either a blessing or a subtle challenge to your sleep schedule. And the adjustable tension sticks? Let’s just say they’re the closest thing to analog therapy. Yes, it’s pricey. But so is sushi-grade tuna, and you don’t see anyone regretting that.

Best price I've seen for this.

Common issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dont get me wrong, I LOVE this controller… although ive owned two of these and the left bumper is almost guarenteed to start sticking and not taking input. Forcing you to use your paddles as bumpers. Otherwise build quality is pretty good d pad and joysticks very responsive and adjustble triggers are a must. Just watch out for this flaw and be prepared for specificlly the left bumper to fail because it only takes just long enough fir it to get out of warranty.

BEST XBOX CONTROLLER FOR GAMING
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Xbox controller for competitive gaming. I will see it is better to get the insurance with this item because the buttons and joystick tends to wear out.

Elite says it all
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Professional" reviews are normally hit or miss and here lately complete garbage. Wanted one of these for a while, so I got one. I was one that could only play 1st person shooters with keyboard and mouse. Tried many times with the Xbox wireless controller, but no way. After setting up the Elite with the windows app and a little practice, I am now playing 1st person shooters almost as good as a keyboard and mouse with the convenience of a controller. Its just more fun. The customization in the app is very nice. Stick curve and sensitivity along with full button customization. There is also recalibration. The controller feels premium and comfortable, I use all four paddles and dont need to touch the keyboard for normal play controls. After just a few days I tried the older wireless controller again and couldnt put it away fast enough. If you are on the fence about it, dont be! The additional sticks are a must. Magnetic charger is awesome.

Awesome controller for people who aren’t children
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, the best controller ive ever used and purchased. Completely blew the base controller out of the water. For the extra price, the added benefits really are worth it. Ive had it for six months now with daily 2-3 hour usage on it, not a single issue. The people complaing about issues are the ones who cant take a loss and throw their controller in a fit of rage. Its a premium controller, not a wii remote. Treat it like a premium product and it’ll reward you swimmingly.

Great Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this controller for my PC at the same time I got a Playstation Edge controller for my PS5. This controller is so much better. Everything feels so much more responsive, from the sticks to the triggers. It sits better in my hands and just feels better overall. Even if the Edge controller had four back triggers like this one instead of two, I’d still rate this one better. I’ve been a Playstation over Xbox fan my whole life, and it makes me sad to rate something Xbox better than PS. But truth is truth. I wish I could use one of these on my PS5.

Huge Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to upgrade from my original Xbox One S controller. It has a very solid feel and switching between the joystick lengths is incredibly simple. The back bumpers are great for FPS games and button mapping is simple.

Reason why to buy a Xbox elite series 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. I always use the elites, you just have to buy the warranty cause if you play a decent amount the controller does break easily

Almost really good but also just really okay
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like many features about this but there are some things I wish I could further tweak. Pros: - So much button and stick customization - RGB light behind Xbox logo - Metal D-pad and back button triggers - Quality feel - Rubber grips do a good job of helping with “sweaty palm syndromes” by being a quick drying grid style rubber Cons: - Much heavier than any custom controller I’ve ever owned - Not personally a fan of back button trigger placement/configuration - RGB light not very vibrant or as expansive in colors available as it likes to advertise I think overall I’m happy with the purchase, but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. I will wait for what they make next or seek a different brand.
