Awesome Competitive Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I traded my old Elite Series 2 (RB, back paddles, and B button would get stuck occasionally) for a new Elite Series 2 controller they had at the Best Buy store, and oh boy was the new one better. Now, the buttons and everything function as intended. Onto the specs. The controller is heavy, but I do not mind the weight and it is comfortable. I like the four back paddles as I do not have to remove my thumbs away from the thumbsticks to press the buttons that are on the front of the controller. This is a game-changer for me because you will have a faster response time than other players who own a regular controller and do not own back paddles. Overall, this controller is worth the price if you want a competitive edge and desire everything that is included with this version of the controller. Just be aware that it might be a defective one.

First day out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ll be updating my review as time goes, but I just want to say out the box first day my gaming experience changed instantly! I do have to get used to the paddles again but no biggie. As of right now this is easily the best $200 I’ve ever wasted.

The Good, The Bad, and the Drifty.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's break this down into a few categories. Build- The build, fit and finish of this controller are top-notch. Each button feels refined, deliberate, and solid. From the bottom triggers to the adjustable shoulder triggers, they are built with purpose and intent. Feel/ Comfort- The controller is ever so slightly smaller than the OG controllers of the X|S line but that's perfectly fine. The grip is comfortable with forgiveness and provides the right amount of grip and texture. Battery- With an integrated battery that should last a day's worth of play, it's simple enough to dock the controller to charge it for the next session. Feedback/Vibration- This is where it gets a bit silly. The primary grip motors are intense and solid, however, the shoulder ones sound like they are loose and weak. Could ba a design, but, for a controller of this caliber I would expect otherwise. The BAD- Ok, so let's get to the elephant in the room. Stick Drift. Is it still a thing, and in short, yes. It took me, 4 controllers, to fine on with thumbsticks thight enough and without slop. While tightening the tension does help, it should be used as a primary source to undo shotty sticks. Why is this worth it! First, let's talk about customization. I know while many of us who play would say "I don't really care about the customization" Trust me, you will once you get tuning and customizing. From the trigger that can easily be removed and mappable, to the sensitivity and responsiveness of the thumbsticks. Moreover, the sensitivity adjustment of the triggers are mechanical as well to shorten the throw. Would I recommend this controller---With its minor shortcomings, still a SOLID YES if you have the coin to toss around.

Great controller, iffy thumbsticks
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my go to controller for a long time. The back paddles are my favorite out of any of the other premium options that include back buttons. The triggers have 3 settings, great for fps games for faster trigger pulls. And the dpad is nice and responsive. My only complaint about the controller is the thumb sticks. While they do have the amazing option to adjust tension which is useful, they also have the worst recentering springs I’ve seen on any controller. There always seems to be a little extra play in the thumbstick and it never really returns to true center on its on. Overall a good controller and a solid option. If they fix the thumbsticks on the next iteration it would truly be the best option out there

Heavy and expensive but good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the controller and it’s case. The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s extra weight. Maybe to some it feels more higher quality to have it weigh this much, but it’s noticeable and not welcome for me. Other than the extra weight, I really love this controller. It’s expensive too and I would never pay full price. But if you’re rich and dedicated to the Xbox, it’s worth it. Much better than PS5 controllers with the symbols

3 out of 5 stars – Great features, but durability
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 controller has some fantastic customization options—adjustable tension thumbsticks, swappable components, and a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts quite a while. The grip feels premium, and the paddles can really improve gameplay once you get used to them. However, for a controller in this price range, the long-term build quality is questionable. After just a few months of regular use, I started experiencing stick drift and issues with the bumpers. It's frustrating considering how much it costs. Microsoft nailed the design and features, but they really need to improve the reliability for it to be worth the premium price.

Good, but PC support issue & no service plan
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pricey but high quality and good feel. I use it with a PC via Bluetooth, Definitely an upgrade over my 360 controllers. Unfortunately the customization of the paddles on the back isn't working after I switch from USB cable to Bluetooth, so taking off a star for that. It essentially makes the paddles useless for me. So minus one star for that. Also I'd hear there was a drift issue with these so I asked if I could buy a service plan, but the clerk told me I had to pay for a Best Buy membership to buy a plan. So no plan, hopefully I can use the warranty if there is an issue. Odd when people won't take your money. I won't deduct a star for that since it doesn't reflect on the product, more of an issue with Best Buy.

Well done XBOX!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is just totally awesome. Fully programmable and will take ur whole gaming experience to a new level for sure!! I must say, though the programming part of it is definitely at a higher level capable understanding. I would recommend watching the associated video of this product if it’s still offered through Best Buy website and not recommended for younger children.

Elite 2
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a recent generation xbox controller, so it can easily connect to your windows pc without the need of a dongle. The back buttons... on the back... are a life-changer. I would personally have a hard time going back to a controller without back buttons. You can customize the back buttons -and I think the general buttons too- however you want. You can have up to 4 back buttons in total and they are all removable. So if you are unsure about using them all at once, you can simply ease into it. The price is expensive, so make sure to properly think if you want such a product, but it is cheaper than getting the xbox core controller and the separate accessories. Great to play on your xbox or if you like to use controllers for your pc, it is easy to do so.

Xbox series Elite 2 controller review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a nice controller it would be a great controller if they could fix all the issues with the drift and the dead zones and also the price is kind of high for what it is I think it should be only about $80 I don't think it's worth the almost $200 it would be a $200 controller if it used Titanium or something but I'm sure the cost of the material is not warranted $200 but it is a nice controller over the stock ones. I like the stock ones too of course it doesn't have all the other features that the this one has but I can live with the stock one because it's only $49 on sale and this is $200 so I can buy four regular controllers for the price of one of these but it's up to you preference and your money situation

Used not open box!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These open box elite controllers are used. People use them for months then bring them back. Look at the buttons and other rubber parts you can se how used they are . Best Buy is misleading. Open box controllers don’t leave the store and havnt been played with games . But a new 1 they are awesome.

Make sure you ask before you buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product but when you buy a used item they do have drift and the store can’t fix it beside replace the controllers, over and over until maybe you get a controller with a little or just a tad bit where it is unnoticeable drift on the controller
