Awesome look, feel, and customization
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After playing with standard controllers all my life, I thought it was time to splurge for a high quality controller, and I was not disappointed. This controller just feels so solid and well constructed. Adjusting and swapping out buttons is a breeze and the charging dock eliminates having to constantly worry about batteries. Everything fits perfectly in the case for easy transport and protection. There is extensive custization with the button mapping and different colors for the home button. It does cost a lot more than standard controllers, but it is well worth the higher price point for dedicated solo gamers.

Very good open box
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as an open box and couldn't be more satuafied. The controller feels very nice and the little travel case it comes with is also high quality. I use it mostly for my computer but sometimes take it with me to a friends house to use with their xbox.

Great controller if you have arthritis issues
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was hesitant about the price of this controller, but I am so, so, so glad I went through with buying it. I suffer from hand and thumb issues, and wanted to try a different controller. This Elite Series 2 was recommended by almost every site I researched, and by multiple arthritis forums. My other option was to cut down on my Xbox play time, but right now it helps keep my hands and mind busy during my layoff from work due to quarantine. The features that I (and my hands!) appreciate the most are the extra paddles on the back, and the ability to customize the tension on the joysticks. That was a lifesaver for my poor hands! I prefer the tension to be on the tightest setting so my thumb joints don't have to stretch so far to manipulate the joysticks. I also further adjusted their tension in the controller customization in the Xbox Accessories app on my xbox. It is only day 2 that I have had it, and it's gotten a few hours of use, and I absolutely love how accessible and customizable it is. It is a bit on the heavy side, but it is the only mark against it in my book.

Get the Best Buy warranty!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start out saying I play Xbox at least 3 hours a day. I am 48 years old and have played on pretty much every system over that timeframe. This controller is the best one I have ever used. However, it isn't perfect. The first one I got right after they came out had an issue where one of the triggers sticking a few months later. I swapped it out using the Geek Squad warranty for a new one. Purchased another warranty, and this one started having movement continue after releasing the right stick, after about a year of constant use. Makes it challenging to play certain games, so I will be swapping it out again and getting another. Buy the Geek Squad coverage. Totally worth it!

Great Entry Point for Pro Controllers
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is competitive comparitave to other pro controllers on the market. The customization options offered in the bundle are nice. Have not had an issue with drift or any buttons not working out of the box. With normal play, the controller should last about as long as a normal comtroller would especially if you keep it in its case. The case allows for the dock to be connected to the usb and charge the controller while protected inside. The Xbox accessories app works nicely when mapping different profiles for the controller as well. If you have concerns with the controller malfunctioning, buy an extended warranty.

WORTH THE PRICE TAG
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is AMAZING! I am a long time console gamer, and about 2 years ago I built a gaming PC. Moving over to the keys took some getting used to but once I was comfortable with it, I swore I would never use a controller again. Fast forward to Elden Ring dropping and just seems like the game was MADE FOR controller. So I went and picked up the Xbox Elite and I was super impressed. The build quality is very good, the swappable sticks are all magnets and hold perfectly. The rear buttons also pop on and off without tools giving you the option to remove them if not in use. All of it is packaged in a great carrying case that can be left plugged in via USB C, allowing the controller to charge when in storage. If you are looking for a quality controller, and have been considered this one… BUY IT! You will not be disappointed.

Nice Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rated 5 stars even though personally I didn’t like it. Great quality product, I really liked how you could adjust the triggers to 3 different setting. I bought because I thought I’d like the extra 4 programmable buttons on the back of the controller (that way you don’t have to take your thumbs off the joysticks to use certain buttons. For me it was just too much to get used to, playing Xbox for 15 years without extra buttons, then trying to get used to them was tricky for me.

Great but not what I expected.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had two previous Elite Series controllers. I definitely see the upgraded quality on this one against the previous version. The built in battery and the case being a charging case is also awesome. Idk if its because i've gotten use to the Series X controller or previous Elite controller but this one feels slippery. It just feels like it can fall out of my hands for some reason. I wish i knew why it felt that way. I also didnt know it didnt have the feature of quickly switching from PC to Xbox like the Series X/S controller by double tapping the sync button. I guess that new feature is something i've gotten use to. Regardless this controller is still great. The wireless charging is so convenient even with the fear of it degrading over time.

I LOVE THIS CONTROLLER!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I LOVE this controller! The controller has some weight to it, which I like. The paddles and d-pad are made of metal and very sturdy. The stem of the sticks are also metal. The paddles, sticks, and d-pad are easy to switch out, no tools needed. Programming controller is super easy using the app on the Xbox or computer. I have smaller hands and the position of the paddles that come with the controller aren't bad. I have switched mine out to use the scuff ones and the difference is marginal between the two. If you need to feel the click of the paddles (I personally don't care about that clicky feel) then switching to the scuff ones is for you. I am pretty rough on my controllers and so far so good. If you are in the market for a premium controller then this one is a great option. I wouldn't pay any mind to the bad reviews they probably just had a bad one, which happens in manufacturing. I had no issues connecting it to my new Series X and it works flawlessly. Get this controller you won't be sorry

Almost Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly one of the best controllers you can get! This is my third one and I learned the hard way to get a protection plan on these contollers. The same issue has happened in the past with serious stick drift and bumper issues (not registering/double registering) developing. If you’re buying through best buy consider the geek squad coverage but also definitely look into getting it with microsoft complete from the microsoft store!

3rd time is the charm...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t get me wrong 5 stars all day, but there is a quality control issue. It took me 3 elite 2 controllers to find one that didn’t have an issue with the A button sticking. Now that I have no issue I love it. It is everything you wanted the elite to be. Being able to make the the trigger button as quick as a mouse click really makes this a much more competitive play up against a keyboard and mouse.

For the Elite
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller has changed gaming on my Xbox forever. I don’t want to game with any other controller. From the grip, adjustable triggers, paddles, and options/settings; it’s incredible. The only downfall is that it’s my 4th one. The Rn/lb for me have broken or become unplayable because of how hard I need to push down on them. I don’t know if I personally have had bad batches but that’s my main complaint. For a controller that is very expensive I should only have to purchase one. But like I said I don’t want another controller lol this makes gaming very fun and they’re a breeze to use.

Great controller for gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Microsoft Elite Series 2 controller. The build quality is top-notch and it feels great in my hands. The interchangeable thumbsticks and paddles allow for customization to fit my personal gaming style. The added Bluetooth feature makes it easy to connect to my PC and mobile devices. The battery life is also impressive, lasting for well over a week with regular use. The software that comes with the controller, allows me to remap buttons and set up profiles for different games. The only downside is the price, but it's worth the investment for the level of precision and control it provides. I highly recommend this controller to any serious gamer.
