Elite controller for the win
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xbox elite controller definitely is the step up every xbox gamer should be given the gift of, from being super comfortable to ultimate customization on textures to the controls, even the 4-paddle trigger backing to the controller is next level

No more batteries
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can adjust the strength of the joysticks and it helps me in comps. It’s a great and sturdy controller. You also don’t have to buy batteries just plug and go.

Very functional controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works great the programmable back triggers are a bit confusing to set up on pc but once you figure it out its great. I would prefer detachable batteries . The interchangeable d pad and thumb sticks are magnetic so great when need to make adjustments.

The best Xbox controller on the market!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best Xbox controller I have ever used. I've been through every controller that Xbox has put out and this one is superb in every way. The buttons are all mapable and the sensitivity of the triggers and buttons are all adjustable. The paddles are there also for those who prefer them, but in my configuration I just don't use them. The feel of this controller is hefty, durable and worth the cost. The case has a charging stand built in which is very nice, but make sure you have a USB-C cable to plug into it. The best thing about this controller is that every part about it just makes sense. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is a serious gamer. You won't be disappointed.

I love this controller but it's falling apart.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the hefty weight the controller has, and I can't play without the paddles anymore. However, after about a year of use the right bumper sometimes drops the input. while one of the paddles feel stiff. On top of if I squeeze it a little to hard it cuts off. And it randomly disconnects. I really love this controller. I just wish it lasted a little longer for the price tag

Quality controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it when it has sell. I’m very happy with it, premium built. Feel comfort holding in my hand, easily to reach out all the buttons. Doesn’t make my hand sweet for long time gaming. It would be perfect if it comes with the paddles

Not to bad
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice controller. Heavier than the default controllers. Great battery life. Had trouble with my rb button. Return was more difficult than expected. Even as a best buy total plus member, i could only return through microsoft. They did fix and send back though. Seems to be fine so far.

I was due for an upgrade and this is a beast. Love the heavier feel and crisp controls compared to old elite and especially the standard controller.

Excellent controller... But "A" button issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best controller on the market for Xbox or PC. Build quality is great, has good weight to it, love the lack of cables and shiny appearance. But... How does a controller this expensive have so many issues with the buttons? Not even a week after buying this for my Jedi:Survivor play through on PC, it registers the "A" button about 9/10 times. Now, that sounds like a nitpick, but consider making a jump in a platformer ONLY 9/10 times by no fault of your own, after paying so much for a controller. You either need to press down HARD or press down perfectly nadir for it to register every time. Totally unacceptable for a controller of this price point. Why is it still "good"? Everything else is beyond wonderful, except the "A" button which many other users have reported issues with. Had it RMA'd and done custom fixes, nothing works. MS just had a poor "A" design I guess. Get it if you have money to spend and hope for the best. Or like using the paddles which work very nicely. Otherwise, I recommend the standard version. I have one too and has zero issues.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The elite controller is great, I've had a couple of series 1 and 2. I would recommend the protection plan, the controller will break in some capacity, all pro controllers are infamous for this, whether it be stick drift, grips pealing, broken bumpers, or broken charging port, something will eventually go wrong with it.

Not for competitive PC players (get anything else)
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No matter how much I tweaked the thumbstick tension and spent time "breaking in the sticks" or adjusting thumbstick curves in settings, it just never gave me the level of responsiveness that some stock controllers do (Dualshock 4, Dual Sense, Gamesir G7, Wolverine v3 TE, 8bitDo Ultimate 2). AND those controllers are a fraction of the price. It's unfortunate because the feel of this controller is above and beyond all others. It has a nice weight and overall feel in the hands. The back paddles are also excellent. It's just a shame that the actual responsiveness does not match.

I meant that , I never wanted to spend the amount of money for a top of the line elite series 2 but this fit my exact need and played better than anything ever before . I hit the perfect sweet spot . Not to mention , Best Buy had a sale at the time , so it was a beautiful experience, top to bottom .

Excellent controller but some issues on PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 feels a lot better than the included controller in the Series X/S and seems more like a true "next gen" controller. I primarily use the Xbox Elite 2 for PC gaming. On Steam when connecting via Bluetooth the controller has worked flawlessly except with Batman: Arkham Knight which required telling the game it was a 360 controller with custom mappings. Surprisingly with Xbox PC game pass I ran into many more issues when connecting via Bluetooth, I found connecting via the included USB-C cable works better for game pass games, otherwise on BT I run into issues where some of the buttons aren't mapped properly and even when manually mapping them they don't respond correctly or at all. Being Xbox's flagship controller, I would think it would run seamlessly on Xbox game pass. The experience may be better on consoles but this controller is billed as an Xbox/PC controller and should work well on both. Other than those issues, which largely are corrected by connecting via USB-C, I like the controller quite a bit. The rumble feature feels much more natural than the included Xbox Series X controllers, which felt to me like technology from 10+ years ago with very basic and clunky vibration feedback, lightweight and a need for AA batteries, especially when compared with the all mighty PS DualSense. The Elite 2 controller has a nice weight to it, the thumb sticks feel solid, snappy and respond nicely. I haven't used the paddles much but I like that they are included and could see them being useful for many games. The grips feel good as well and make the controller sit securely in your hands during gaming sessions. The controller also feels more balanced than the X/S. This controller comes with a quality, corded 9' USB to USB-C cable as well as a rugged case that doubles as a charging station. Within the case it also includes a tool to adjust the thumb sticks as well as an alternate D-pad. Overall this is a large improvement over the included X/S controllers, and some of its PC compatibility issues which are a bit frustrating can largely be overcome by tethering with USB-C.
