This is my 2nd Elite Series Xbox controller. Size, feel, quality is top notch. The paddles are very comfortable and the controller comes with additional paddle and button options for personal preferences. It is easy to connect to the console and the charging station is fantastic. Nothing bad to say about this controller. Highly recommend.

This works perfectly. I upgraded to this because of the buttons on bottom. The only problem I have is... the buttons on bottom. They work so well that I keep them turned off so they don't get input from my handling the controller. It's good to know that they are there, should I decide to use them.

First Impressions: Sleek, Minimal, and Purposeful The "Core" in the name is significant. The controller arrives in a sleek white finish (with a black option), presenting a minimalist, almost sporty aesthetic compared to the full Elite Series 2's included carry case. Don't mistake "Core" for "stripped-down" in terms of build quality. The moment you pick it up, you feel the heft and premium construction. The textured grips provide exceptional hold, ensuring it stays firmly in your hands during the most intense gaming sessions. The core components—the high-grade buttons, triggers, and hybrid D-pad—are all here and feel exceptional right out of the box.

Best controller on the market, period. I use this for almost all my gaming on my Alienware R16 and the build quality is night and day compared to a standard controller. The adjustable-tension sticks and paddles make a huge difference in feel and precision. If you’re serious about gaming on a PC or console, it’s worth every penny.

The price is up and quality is down on these elite remotes. As i was not paying attention when i was doing a warranty exchange and was only given credit for a core elite so im out the 70$ difference. My mistake i guess

I have had this controller for 4 years or so now. The RB button no longer works, i have to press down on it harder to work and this ruins gameplay. Also, the rubber grip started to wear off. There were too many buttons and accessories and for me it wasn’t worth $180. Smaller parts would eventually break. I don’t recommend for casual gamers, you are better of buying the cheaper controller for $60.

Problems: buttons (LB AND RB) start to work less over time, causing presses to not register. Some minor issues with the rubberized material peeling at the seem after a while. Too expensive to be having this problem at $180 pros: great controller with amazing customization. love the paddles too. it is great to hold and aiming with them is pretty much a breeze. I also love the adjustable triggers, and the case it comes with that can charge the thing.

This is the only controller that works for me. It's got a quality feel as a heavier controller, the paddles are ergonomically placed, and the thumbsticks allow for good control. However, I would only recommend this controller to those that are gentle with their controllers or that have the disposable income to keep replacing it. I have had at least 8 of these over the years and I have to keep replacing because the thumbsticks get drift rather quickly, and I've had frequent issues with the paddles becoming unusable or the bumpers becoming unusable. Get the protection plan!

Best official Xbox controller around. Love the paddles and adjustability of certain aspects. Main dislike is the seemingly short lifespan of the sticks. Very common issue.

I've had multiples of this controller and there is one major issue... Stick Drift. If they could fix the stick drift issue this would be a perfect controller. I have had them drift straight out of the box. It is pretty dumb that Microsoft hasn't fixed this issue.

Great controller, its about time they dropped the Elite series 3 though. I think this one is lagging behind (literally) when it comes to the amount of Hz it connects too. The higher the better. Almost got a different one until i found it it had no rumble to the controller. I need to feel the game! Extremely comfortable and easy to use. Buy!!!

The Elite Series 2 Core is hands down the best controller I’ve ever owned. The build quality feels premium and solid, with a great weight in the hands. The grips are super comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the adjustable tension thumbsticks make a huge difference in precision. Battery life is excellent, and I love that it works seamlessly across my Xbox Series X, PC, and even cloud gaming. Have a couple of PS5 Dual Sence controllers but no matter what you do on PC, they are rarely compatible with most games. So, i had my eye on this for a while. Finally took the plunge and so glad I did! Perfectly compatible on PC. Comes with everything you need including a charger.

I want to share my positive experience with the Xbox controller I recently purchased. It is incredibly convenient, customizable, and easy to use. I particularly appreciate the ability to choose a D-pad that suits the game I'm playing, rather than being limited to a single cross or round pad. The round pad works best for fighting games, while the cross D-pad is ideal for older games where diagonal movement isn't necessary. Using it on my Windows PC has been seamless; it connected instantly without any issues. The availability of downloadable software to customize the back paddles is also a significant plus. While I personally haven't used this feature, it's definitely super useful for accessibility and for those who need it.

It’s an overall solid controller. The reason for the four stars is the wear and tear. Sticks get dick drift after a year of heavy gameplay and considering the price I believe it should be at least two years for any part malfunction

Classic heavy-built controller. Paddles are a little wiggly but perform perfectly. I love the case, magnetic charger, and stick replacements. Long battery life and insane customization for stick and trigger function.

I love the controller for it's functionality. I just feel like for the price point, you shouldn't experience any problems with it. But that could be on me from dropping it a few times, whoops. Luckily I got the extended warranty which I highly recommend getting too.
