Great controller to take you to the next level
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This control is solid in so many ways. Great accessories, feels great in hand which we come to expect from x box. But the "pro" functions set this above its peers and make it worth the money. Triggers are smooth and quick for fps but still reaponsinsive for driving games. The ability to tighten thumbstick tension is a gamechanger. The back paddles are comfy and let you keep thumbs on sticks so you get to play better. All in all id buy this again 100/10 times

A great upgrade to the original elite controller
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the original elite controller for 5 years. Love it. Got used to the paddles makes playing the game so much easier, since you can map buttons to the back paddles. Main differences Paddles on the series 2 are SMALLER. Its not a bad thing. Paddles are more like buttons (more clicky than the Original). Which I love. It has bluetooth which is great since you can now connect to phones or tablets to you Xboxs knew streaming service XCloud. The original had just grips on the back of the handles now know grips cover the whole handle (front and back) the series 2 also has little grips on the bumpers and triggers. Is now rechargable, rather than AA batteries. You can know have 3 preset custom control options rather than 2. I don't miss anything on the original and the elite series 2 is my new favorite. I can't go back to the old paddles. It's well worth the purchase and I recommend getting the device protection on it so if something DID go bad u can easily replace. Even if you don't use the paddles the controller is overall substantially better quality than that of a standard $60 controller. As long as you don't throw it and you treat it nicely.

I like that its a little quieter.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Necessary, but not a good value for money. The stock controller hurts my hands, the elite 2 hurts them less, but still hurts them. Xbox still hasn't designed a controller useable in fighting games, the A button and sometimes RB button don't always trigger. The sticks are gorgeous and the dpad is useable. Good build quality and premium feel, great battery life, great little charger and included case. i don't use the rear paddles. I literally got this because the stock controller is super loud, and it bothers me when I use my Xbox while trying to fall asleep. It's still loud, but significantly less loud. The rumble is too loud still thoe. To avoid hand pain, I use a brook wingman adapter with ps4 dual shock controller. For limited, but regular use as a remote for the xbox console, its good. If the buttons were more responsive (A button especially), and if my hands didn't hurt, it'd be a really good controller. I've had to return 3 or so, because the A + RB buttons not working most of the time. Missed inputs unheard of on Playstation controllers, so it's disappointing even the elite controller has this issue. Otherwise, there's a nice premium feel too it, charger and case are good. The grip could be improved, they kinda skimped there. It looks and feels better than it actually is, if that makes any sense.

Expensive, but great controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little pricey, but if you can afford it, I would recommend it. It has a nice grip, feels weighty, and you can swap out pieces easily. The removable pieces are magnetic. No fear of accidentally breaking the plastic. Nothing about the controller feels cheap. It's strong and durable. It is equipped with a rechargeable battery, and the life of the battery lasts a long time. This controller comes with its own case which makes for great storage. A great controller if you are a serious gamer.

Not bad, a little expensive but GET WARRENTY.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome controller, amazing features for true hardcore gamers but there are a few flaws. My RT (right trigger) over time became very "sticky" it would require me to put in extra pressure to press the trigger down after having it in the medium trigger sensitivity for about a month.... not a big fan of that (like really 1 month). Also the cover on the trigger sensitivity lock popped off of my controller also within the first month and I have yet to drop this controller even as I write this review months later. Either I was given a bad controller or these are designed to break easy but regardless of the cons it's a good controller all around. take my advice GET WARRANTY ON IT!

You get what you pay for, sort of
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels good in my hands and has a nice weight to it. This was a replacement for a series one elite that had worn out in a number of ways long before it should have for what I paid. I'm concerned the series 2 will be showing the same wear within the same time period, but decided to take a chance anyway. I guess time will tell. Some third-party controllers have the same weight but simply don't have the same feel as the authentic Microsoft elite controllers, which is why I bit the bullet and went ahead and bought another one despite thinking the last one wore out way too fast for the price point.

Good Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buttons feel great. Also being able to change the 4 Back Buttons to whatever you wish allows you to pull of some crazy stuff in shooters and well as fighting games

Wonderful Controller
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller's ergonomics are exceptional, particularly the macro buttons, which facilitate complex command inputs in fighting games. Pairing with my computer was seamless, eliminating any configuration complexities. The weight and grip are ideally balanced and comfortable.

A Hefty Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While I don't really think it's worth the full price, I got it on sale and used certificates to lower its cost even further, it's definitely an awesome controller. It's a solid, good-weighted controller. The grip texture around the entire grips is great. It just feels really good in your hands. Being able to tighten the tension on the control sticks, swapping out the sticks or the D-Pad for the other ones, all super easy to do. My one complaint is the lack of the share button the newer Series X/S controllers have. Since I got this after having one of those controllers, I definitely notice it missing. If they would patch an update to be able to remap the "preset switch" button to be the share button, this would be the perfect controller in my opinion, but for those who don't use the share button that often it's already at that perfect level.

When You Are Serious
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are the sort of person that even considers dropping nearly $200 on a controller then you know this is already for you. I owned and initially had a dislike of the Series 1 Elite, too heavy, too ugly, too battery dependent. That’s all gone. If they didn’t indeed save weight they did a better job of spreading it out. Battery life is now tied to an internal pack so be sure to get the warranty. Should anything happen in the rare instance of a bad battery you will be able to replace. Don’t worry about your settings, you can save 250 profiles for your controller. That’s likely more profiles than you have games (unless you’re the sort that already bought this controller). The new lighter weight and textured grip have yielded much improved ergonomics and better gameplay. The free app available wherever this controller connects is a very detailed look at what you can configure and save. The included charging stand and case are impeccably designed. Finally, the much lauded switch to USB-C allows me to connect the Series X|S regular controllers for updates.

The best controller on the market.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic controller! A little bit heavier than the original xbox controller, but got used to it quickly. Additional buttons can be easily changed on the xbox controller settings. Would recommend 100/10.
