Amazing controller !!! I have been playing Video games for serval years now and have gone through a lot of controllers. The Xbox elite controller has been by far the best. Longevity and ability to program your controller to fit your gaming style is amazing.

I didn't expect much difference from the Xbox One controller I've been using for my PC setup, but going through so many AA batteries made me consider this one. Not only is it rechargable, but the 4 buttons on the bottom are life changing for gaming. If I had this when I was playing Elden Ring, it would have made a WORLD of difference. Not having to take your thumbs off of the movement and camera sticks is incredibly useful. TLDR : GET IT!

There's a lot of reviews out there discrediting this controller as being unreliable or easily damaged. I've had it for four months now and play almost every day and have had zero issues. I did, however, purchase the replacement plan to cover myself in case there are some issues down the road, but everything's good so far. Feels premium and built in battery and charging dock are super convenient.

My son broke the first elite controller. Bought an open box deal to save a lot money. Works flawless.

It's a great product. Comfortable in hands and great for mapping buttons.

Item was a xmas gift so it has had limited use, but so far this controller has been excellent. Its responsive, is comfortable to use and I like the customizable features.

I play roughly 10-12 hours a week. It’s the simply the best. Buy the protection plan! one of the buttons will eventually go bad, I have used both versions of the elite controller and after an extremely slow/painful exchange that took almost two months to return to me I’m working order. I had geek squad on the second elite controller and could not feel more justified in a purchase. Stopped into a store, person helping me went and grabbed a new one off the shelf and I was out the door before my appt was scheduled to start. The controller quality is unmatched but hinders the durability, buy the 2-3 year protection plan.

Got an Elite Wireless Controller because my standard XBOX Series X took a dive on a Joystick. My friends use these and I can see why. My scores immediately improved and I could program the paddle shifters below for what I wanted. The only downside is that you can have 3 different "Button Layouts" and there is a button to Toggle through them. During a game if you get "crazy fingers" and tap the "button profile select button, prepare to crash, die, respawn somewhere else because YOU told it to. Solidly built and take death grips on the horns and hard pressed on joysticks quite well. It holds" zero" joystick center very well.

Dislike that the bumpers are always the first to go, the grips come off pretty easily, and the stick drift happens way too early in its life. Overall still like the remote, just wish it was produced better similar to the Xbox 360 remotes.

This controller is great. Super easy to change the D-Pad or the joysticks. My A button feels a bit sticky although it has not messed with my playing yet. Mapping buttons to the back paddles is extremely easy and can be done at anytime. If you do not want to use the back paddles, they come out very easy. This controller is great if you like to customize and plan on using the back paddles. I use the paddles not competitively like one would assume so even just mapping the A button to the back top right paddle can be nice for some.

Absolutely FANTASTIC. I had a scuf controller and it is literally a $300 paperweight.I wish I would have gotten this sooner. There are so many things you can do with this. I love it. I highly recommend you get the extended warranty though throw geek squad because I have read some reviews from some full-time high end streamers who have had issues. However, I am very please. I've streamed over maybe 50 hours and the battery is STILL full. I'm blown away. Stay away from Scuf...this is your controller. I promise.

I bought this for my grandson who is 9 years old with a broken left arm who is a total gamer but was having a difficult time playing due to his unfortunate accident.

This controller provides me the edge I need to decimate the 12 year old punks that like to hurl the n word at me with reckless abandon. I used to have nothing to say because of how badly these young assassins would kill me, but now thanks to this controller I can talk back to them with Yo Momma jokes and about how promiscuous their mother's and sister's are. Now I feel like a big man when I play video games because now I can win on the field of battle and in the trash talking game and send those prepubescent punks crying back to mama and it is all thanks to this controller.

Controller feels and works great. The triggers on the back make my reaction times quicker especially on first person shooters! Not to mention this controller has a built in battery, so no more batteries or battery packs needed like regular Xbox controllers. My only complaint is that it isn’t slightly cheaper so more folks can easily afford it!

Very solid controller, miles better than the original which I still own, the only issue is the Quality Control on this controllers. Mine came with a broken Right Bumper that registers twice, and the sticks have drift. All I have to say is if you're going to be serious about this controller consider the extended warranty for a little more so you can return the controllers for the next 2 years.

My son loves how easy this controller is to navigate between different functions. The battery charge lasts forever it seems, and the ergonomics are comfortable.

The Elite controller was just as good for sensitivity and control. The handles wore and started to separate from the rubber, so I needed a new controller. I'm not sure what was expected of this new controller, but it does pretty much the same. I do like the idea that it will be compatible with the new Xbox coming in Nov/Dec 2020. The one new feature that is great (so far) is the rechargeable batteries. I would use rechargeables in my old controller, but would have to keep swapping them out. With these, I just use the USB cord which I like a little more.

Better than the regular controller that comes with the console. Although some of the buttons have to pressed just a little harder to register.

The function is amazing being able to use the paddles and customization. On that same note the quality is some what lacking as the rest of the elites the rb and lb are always an issue . No stick drift yet after a year …yet

As a semi-casual gamer with a taste for the finer things, when the original Elite controllers dropped I purchased a pair to use daily. While the value provided was exceptional, there were a myriad of growing pains to address as Microsoft went premium. After nearly 5 years of use, and several warranty events, it was time to let them go. I'm glad to say, Microsoft's followup appears to have addressed long-term concerns surrounding the joysticks and grips breaking down. Now if only they hadn't sealed the battery inside!
