Love/Hate
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy video games so having this is more like a “collectors” item. I love that the controller is customizable. However, it’s not a must have. If you play COD/HALO/PUBG etc it could be useful. Parents, if you don’t have the money to spend on this, try and reason with your child before purchasing.

Good product with a big downside
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. However, at first, it did take a little to get used to the feeling in the hand coming from a regular controller. However, when I'm playing FPS games, I can definitely notice a difference and cannot go back to a regular controller now. I will say the reliability of this item is not that great. Only 5 months in the bumpers are not as responsive, sometimes not at all. I would say this is worth the price, but just be aware of the longevity.

Worth the scratch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was umm skeptical that a controller costing this much would feel like it was worth the scratch. I'm a enjoy the game at my own pace kind of gamer. So buy a controller like this? Well it's just better quality for one. Being able to shorten the top triggers is a great feature for when you need to button bash through a boss fight. I've only had this controller a month so I can't speak for it's longevity but so far I'm happy I invested.

Best wireless option for Xbox
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is better than the default Xbox controller in every way. The paddles are great if you have finger/thumb issues like I do. There are basically no good wireless aftermarket options outside of this; the Scuf controller is wireless, but it runs on AA batteries, which I don't want to deal with.

The paddles are a game changer! And get GSP
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing controller! The custom button remapping and rear button paddles are worth it alone if you like playing games with a controller on PC, an Xbox One or Series X/S. I map most game's crouch and jump buttons to the right paddles so my thumb doesn't need to leave the thumbstick and stop aiming to perform those actions. Just be wary of any paddle mappings that are buttons that can delete characters like the X button in Destiny 2. I've heard one too many stories of people setting their Elite on their lap or on some junk on a coffee table and a paddle was pressed in for the "delete character" command, and they accidentally pressed the confirm paddle button when picking up the controller. Aside from that, the trigger stops are nice to give your index fingers a bit of a rest for repetitive trigger pulls, and with custom remapping, you can tweak your button layout in most games to emulate the layout of your favorite games. I've heard stories of some people's controllers wearing down bumper buttons faster than others, but so far, my first Elite series 2 lasted almost 2 years before the bumper wore down and I needed to replace it. Far better than the usual 6-9 months of the Elite series 1. The GSP protection is a livesaver, though not as cheap of a plan when they were first released. The 2-year warranty is currently $60, which is the cost of a normal controller to replace what would be this luxury $180 controller. I really hope we see a day where custom remapping and horizontally aligned back paddles become the norm and not a luxury. But for the time being, this is my favorite controller of all time.

Great controller, but bumpers break easily
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The controller worked great, and the paddles on the back were able to work with rebinding native keys, but with the default configuration I was also able to use Steam controller configuration to rebind keyboard and mouse keys to the controller. It had everything I wanted, and it handles very well. But, after about 6 months of use, the right bumper broke, and because I didn't purchase a protection plan I now have to repair it on my own, or just deal with a broken button. I read reviews online about "just rebind the RB to one of the paddles," but come on, no one wants a broken button, and it shouldn't have broken this soon in the first place. I read online that this was a problem with the series one controller, and apparently it hasn't been fixed in the series two. If you buy this, make sure to get the protection plan, because chances are your bumpers are going to break. Other than the bumpers, I've had no problems with the controller.
