Would recommend for competitive gamers, for casuals who are just looking for a controller I’ll say this is expensive for your needs. Crazy helpful in certain games where you don’t want to constantly take your thumb off the analog stick. Great customization options like response curves, trigger and analog deadzones, trigger locks, analog tension and you can set custom profiles for specific games.

Awesome controller with extra paddle buttons on the bottom for advanced gameplay.

After using this controller for only a short time, I have only good things to say about it. Although a bit on the high side of price for a controller. The build quality, performance, and all around appearance is outstanding and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend this for any Xbox users and PC users who play on controller, a HUGE improvement over any other controller on the market.

extremely good controller I love the elite controllers the Microsoft has made but these new ones are mind blowing. I wish they came with a case like my black elite series 2 but that’s not that big of a difference still get a great controller built to last with a great battery

Pros: Swappable joysticks plus a tall boi Metal D-pad Grips Bumper buttons have nice indents on them so you can hit them while holding the trigger Case Connects properly over BT to PC reliably and consistently Cons: 2x cost of a regular controller Paddles are meh We'll see how these hold up to long term use since that doesn't seem to be a strong point of Xbox controllers recently

This is the best controller I’ve ever used! I own the first edition of this controller also, but this one is much better. Feels better ergonomically, I love the rubber grips that wrap around the handles. The triggers also have a texture to them which is nice. My favorite feature is the internal rechargeable battery - lasts 40 hours on one charge...phenomenal! It’s certainly spendy, but worth it in my opinion. It will also work with next gen consoles

So far, this seems like MS took the shortfalls of the Series 1 controller and addressed each one. This fits my hand better, has more personalization, and is rechargeable. I am concerned that the battery is not replaceable, not only for longevity, but on those long gaming sessions. Time will tell if the battery will outlast my ability to game for extended hours. Bought the extended warranty just in case this has similar problems with the bumper buttons or joystick drift over time.

this is just sweet! very high end controller compared to the basic one or even the Elite from a few years ago. I love the grip and handle. the charger is well designed. it has four extra paddles in the back which I am sure someone knows how to program, but right now are preset.

The controller has felt great and worked flawlessly on PC and Xbox. only thing i recommend is to switch out the back paddles from scuf as they feel wider and give the paddles a better feel. (they are compatible BTW)

I love the controller. It has a nice tight grip around, the controller is a little bigger than the normal controller which is nice because normal controllers are too small for my hands while this one, is the perfect size for me. The paddles on the back is so useful for when gaming

It does take some getting use too, but it’s awesome!

Cheap parts used and over priced bumpers break Everytime no matter what and can't even be replaced easily analogs always get drift eventually to a point where you have to replace just simply not worth it I've had at least 6 of them so lesson learned hard

Definitely a good upgrade and worth the price. It's nice having the ability to adjust how stiff you want the toggles as well as the triggers travel distance. With it also being able to switch between different toggles and d-pads, makes it worth every penny

The controller is great, responsive, and has all the bells and whistles you expect for an elite controller. I wish I had known that the mapping would be limited to the games.

Good controller but didn’t last long. My son gets a lot of wear and tear on controllers but I was hoping this higher end one would be more durable

The Elite controller makes gaming so much better. The buttons aren't loud, and don't feel so blocky like the basic controllers that come with the XB1X systems.

This controller is unbelievable, I've had it since launch and my Apex game has definitey improved because of it. Being able to adjust the tension on the analog sticks and change to a short tigger pull for semi-autos is amazing. I had the first Gen Elite Controller and the right bumper keep breaking, but the new one is flawless. I took out the bestbuy 2 year warranty since I was paranoid of 1st gen issues. You can't go wrong with this controller especially if you find it onsale.

Probably the best controller on the market. Some nice improvements on the original, especially the internal long lasting battery and adjustable thumb stick tension. That being said, I unfortunately got one with somewhat busted thumb sticks. Super jangly and loose, noticeably more so than my old and well worn elite series 1. I guess some controllers leave the factory better than others. I’ll be using my geek squad to grab a new one.

I only use one of the paddles but i like all the extra customization options. Definitely only buying one to use. I like it comes with a very ling maybe 2 meter charging cable that i can utilize for other things as well. The cable is also covered in some mesh not some cheap chargibg cable.

This controller is heavier than the regular Xbox controller. You can change out thumb sticks, d-pad and paddles. The thumb sticks have adjustable tension and it allows you to save four presets including the default to the controller (double the first elite controller). The triggers have three settings which are good for those needing to setup for faster shooting in games. This is a durable alternative to the original controller and totally worth the investment for serious gamers.
