A necessity for gamers!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A year later… still world perfectly. Honestly , there isn’t much to say about it. I love it, the settings are saved across the board Whether I’m using the controller for my Xbox, pc or Used for my phone - it saves the settings for all the games I want to use it for under its profile. Super easy to get used to, and feels amazing. 10/10

Xbox Elite series controller SHINES ABOVE THE REST
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using the Xbox elite series controller for about a month now I feel that I can leave a solid and honest review. I have tried and used multiple Xbox controllers that have paddles and are capable of custom button mapping. The xbox app for the Xbox elite series controller allows you to custom map EVERY ASPECT of the controller. So much so that I am able to turn down the responsiveness and speed at which the input for the left and right stick acceleration depending on the parameters that I set. It sets so well and comfortably in my hands. Simply put, it is hands down the best controller i have ever used. Thats including Fusion and Turtle Beach brands. The cost is minimal at best for such a controller in my opinion. I have had to return and exchange numerous controllers that were previously stated. Given the costs (Turtle Beach alone being over $200) of the competitors products and the craftsmanship I had expexted to be set for the foreseeable future, however that was never the case. I have had ZERO issues with my Xbox elite series controller. The battery is PHENOMENAL and the charge time is MINIMAL at best.

Top Notch Quality own many all work still
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own many Xbox Elite controllers I've had my own from the Xbox Design Labs I've actually bought core controllers in the store and then turn them into what I wanted afterward I bought in several of these it's just some may show up on my phone some might not to this day I haven't had one break on me not one except for the first one I ever bought which was on Amazon which proves my point about quality control and also Microsoft got a lot better making them because I used to get them direct from the Microsoft store and the version ones they just were not that great I mean it's a matter of preference what style you like I like this and prefer it to the dual Sense Edge for sure most comfortable gaming controller I use it when I game on other devices as well

I love it more than the original Elite!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller definitely comes with a price premium and I was hesitant to shell out that much for a controller, but with my original Elite on its last leg after years of use, I decided to give it a chance and I was not disappointed. First off, it's very comfortable- I love the grips they chose and how they made them go all the way around the controller this time. I also like that they've added a grip texture to the shoulder buttons, a nice touch. Like the original, this one includes 3 sets of thumb sticks. This time however, they're a little different. I think it has a set of 360 control sticks this time, at least they feel that way to me. I've been playing around with a few different ones and I've enjoyed using them all for different games. The d-pad of course is pretty much the same and that's not much of an issue. Both the d-pad and the circular d-pad are fantastic. The paddles are similar to the original but have a few differences. They're a little smaller and now they don't feel like they get in the way. And this time it feels like they require a little more effort to press them in, which is a good thing to me. I've had way less accidental presses with the new paddles. Like the old Elite, this one includes the same carrying case and braided charging cable, which is great. But you also get the ability to charge your controller while it's in its case thanks to the charger pass-through slot and the charging dock that's included, which is a very welcomed addition. You also get a rechargeable battery included (finally!). However, it is non-removable unless you take the controller apart. You also get 3 on-board profiles plus the default profile that you can change with the press of a button, and of course you store hundreds more on the Xbox accessories app. There are many other new features packed into this controller that you'll have to research yourself, but overall I'd definitely recommend this to anyone that was a fan of the original Elite. Microsoft has pretty much fixed every issue that the first one had and improved on so many things.

I like it a lot, but boy, is it expensive!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really dig this controller and look forward to the inevitable Elite 3 which will (hopefully) borrow a bit more of the things I like about the Series SX controller. In the meantime, this will be just fine. It's expensive, so I do recommend trying to catch it on a sale. The build quality feels excellent, and I'm generally happy with the level of customization it allows me on PC. I primarily use this for FPS games (Apex Legends, at the moment). If you're feeling limited by what your standard controller or gamepad lets you do (especially as far as movement goes), this might help. There's a learning curve, and you'll probably spend a few days figuring out how to map your buttons with another week adjusting to using paddles, but once you get it, you can expect to feel as comfortable with it as you would any other gamepad. I really like the magnetic attachments, the trigger stops, the "Shift" options that let me program buttons do more than a single function, and the overall feel of it. The d-pad is a bit more squishy than I'd like, and I do prefer the feel of the SX d-pad to this one. It's fine, though, and you don't really use it much for FPS games, anyway. I've heard complaints about stick drift, but I think that's an eventuality with all modern controllers, regardless of brand. I typically do a full rotation with each stick before I start playing, and that tends to "reset" them, so stick drift isn't really a problem for me, especially in games with deadzone settings. That said, I've only had this a few weeks. I do have an extended warranty, just in case, so time will tell. If you think this might be for you and aren't completely turned off by the price, I'd recommend it. If you can't think of a reason you'd want it or would ever want to pay that much for a controller, skip it. Beyond FPS games, I could see this as being super cool for racing games and maybe a few other genres. Also, if you're using it for PC, get the dongle (I think it runs about $20-30). I already had one, and it works really well.

Good but not best for competitive gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good but not great. Feels comfy, plays smooth but for whatever reason the overloxking polling rate on xbox controllers are not unlockable to higher rates. Therefore you are stuck with Microsoft stock settings when it comes to input latency. Therefore the PS5 edge has a advantage over this one. Other then that its perfect very easy to use and feels great in your hands.

Get the warranty.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband plays video games a lot so the remote gets used and abused. The remote usually last him about 8 months until it starts to have issues. So GET the warranty. For some reason he loves this remote and will only buy this remote. I don’t play video games so I’m not sure how durable remotes are suppose to be, but he’s gone through a few of them. The warranty isn’t cheap but it’s cheaper than having to buy a new remote every so often.
