Best one so far
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can you say about it, if you play on pc or console then you already know this is by far one of the best controllers to get. I would recommend this to anyone, but it's only fault is the dreaded stick drift. It may happen in a few weeks or years but it does happen. Once they add magnetic sticks, this will be the perfect controller but till then its nearly perfect.

Low-great, high-good
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every button has an authoritative, reassuring press, but lowering to 4 stars because it's not quite as durable as you'd think. The vibration motors have begun rattling the chassis juuuust enough to where it's noticeable, and the rubber, textured grip has come loose up near the shoulder buttons. While in a different league entirely to the base controller, the Elite 2 is truly great... for ~8 months. Low-great, high-good thereafter.

Great Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great controller, I had a used Series 1 originally that I bought from a friend. It had been used to the point the plastic grips were tearing off so I decided to upgrade. It's been a great controller and the case/charger is awesome for taking it to a friends place. I'm not entirely sure if it's the controller or my Pc, but I can't connect it wirelessly. However, I can play while it's plugged in. A little expensive for a controller, but I guess it beats buying a bunch of cheap ones.

Just wow
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the original Elite controller and I LOVE it but I gave it to my wife when she started playing Xbox more. I got this one and somehow love it even more! - The paddles are a little smaller, which helps if you have big meat hooks for hands like I do. - There's no more nasty green under the swappable parts so you get a really blacked out look - The swappable profiles are AMAZING if you play different styles of games. I currently have Assassin's Creed, first person and Skyrim profiles. - The hair triggers are now variable and help a lot with those split second reactions - It comes with a charging dock and you can even charge it while it's in the carrying case thanks to a small passthrough grommet. - The wrap around grips are MUCH nicer than the gen 1 elite controller. No more hand sweat buildup! I can't say enough nice things about this controller and it's worth every penny if you're a big gamer!

Fantastic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily my favorite game controller out there. Easlily interchangeable with xbox and PC, very long battery life, durable, some customizable parts, and great carrying/charging case. I did have to replace it recently though due to RB button failure. Even with it's extensive use, the failure happened a bit sooner than I expected. These things are pretty well built. Don't think I can ever go back to regular controllers.

You'll want to add an extended warranty with this!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller, love the customizability, but I've gone through several already with either stick drift developing, or, more recently, the left stick broke and would not return to center. Definitely way better than the stock Xbox controller, but hate the downtime of having to return to Microsoft to get fixed. I never purchased extended warranties, but DID end up buying the Best Buy one for this controller because they seem pretty prone to failure.

My go to controller, wish it had more options tho.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally had the original Elite controller, and upgraded to this one after I had multiple issues with the original. I did have my first unit eventually develop stick drift issues, so I took it in and was able to get a new one. So far, I have not had issues with the replacement after several months of daily use. I still wish we could map keyboard keys to the back paddles for things like Push to talk bindings in games. I've now become very attached to the option of swapping out the analog sticks for something is a better fit to my style.

not bad
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the paddles in the back make this controller superior to the standard xbox controller. the black and silver looks sleek. my only complaint is the r2 and L2 buttons stop working after a while and the controller needs to be replaced after a year. (I will still probably keep getting this controller unless something more durable comes out)

Do Not Recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this controller in January 2022. A couple years in, I had issues with button activation (mostly bumpers) and rubber coming unglued. These problems exacerbated until finally recently becoming unusable. This does not appear to be a defect, just poor design and materials. I expect more from Microsoft, especially at this price point.

Improvement over the series 1
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The grips feel way better and it feels like it’s just better made than the previous series. The battery life has been amazing. I’m a streamer and play a good amount but so far this controller has been nothing but great. I wish it came with 2 of the tall thumbsticks instead of 1 and the paddles on the back are smaller than the series one but luckily I just transferred the larger paddles over since I had the series one. Thumbsticks however are a different size attachment so you can’t transfer those over. Like I Said so far the controller seems like a big improvement but we’ll see how the durability holds up and I wish they gave us another large thumbsticks and the paddles were slightly bigger.

Best Controller Evva!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these controllers, I have 4 of them because I like the weight and feel; use one each for ROG Ally X, Gaming PC and XBox Series X with a spare in case one dies and I don’t want to game tethered or wait for recharge.

Xbox Elite series 2 controller review

This controller is exactly what I was looking for!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller. The adjustable triggers and back paddles are why I purchased, but the different joysticks and how customizable the sensitivity and dead zones are is a massive benefit as well.

Can’t Trust This Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Second controller I’ve gone through and I don’t even play often. The Series One I had also had to be replaced. For the money you spend, these controllers should last much longer.
