Way better than the standard Xbox controller. I like that you can set the back paddles to anything you like. No more having to buy batteries since it’s rechargeable. The biggest problem is the joysticks, the drift is very real and for a controller with a high price they should be better.

Ordered for myself a year ago. Since then this controller has been absolutely amazing! I’ve been able to keep up in all the latest games and compete against others well. Would most definitely recommend!

Honestly the best controller I have used yet. Even without using the extra buttons and triggers, the weight and size of this controller just feel right. They seem to have resolved the issues we all had with the original Elite controller and offer plenty of customization options with extra sticks and buttons.

Elite controllers are amazing you just need to get the protection plan for any problem that can occur from use of a controller like stick drift

If you are sick of removing your thumbs from your joysticks when you are in the middle of a battle, you would enjoy this controller. For me, I play a lot of first person shooters and this has helped me elevate my game okay. Im able to continue to battle with out removing my thumbs from the joysticks. The build quality is really nice and feels well built. There is a bit more weight to the controller because they use more metal parts. The only issue I have noticed is stock drift still plaques the controller. At this price point I would love to see hall effects joysticks. Other the. That the controller is worth the money.

It’s amazing been using it for a couple of days and i love it, but if you are a casual gamer honestly I would say dont get it, I play casually maybe three times a week, and even thought it feels nice in hand, it doesn’t really do much of a difference than my regular xbox controller,.

Really does give you an advantage in shooter games. Controller looks and feels premium! Love how the buttons from the original elite controller fit this, so buying just this core was a no brainer to me.

Love this controller use it everyday. Just make sure you don’t drop it.

3rd elite controller. This is my 2nd core. After about 18 mos, all xbox controllers experience stick drift if used regularly. This one is no different. The adjustments these allow help diminish the effect over time. Love them and won't use anything else.

I love using this controller for campaign games or solo gaming or co-op gaming but for first person shooting or online gaming third person shooting I would prefer the regular control over this

I've been using the Elite controller since it's first iteration and they never disappoint. The only reason I needed a new one is because I made the mistake of letting my son use the other and he raged in Fortnite and slammed it on the desk.

I love never needing to take my thumbs off of the thumbsticks. I solely use this controller for competitive shooter titles, and it works great! The customization is highly appreciated, I’ve tried many combinations already and will continue to experiement. I don’t personally get anything out of the different tension settings, though. The feeling of the controller is pure quality, from the weight, to all the buttons and triggers. I especially love the D-Pads, but for competitive shooters I have almost exclusively used the ‘plus’ D-pad. All-in-all, a way better pro controller than the Dualsense Edge, and on par with 3rd party pro controllers.

If you are looking for a solid controller this is the go to, also if you have an original elite controller and you break it or damage it the paddles thumb button are all cross compatible with this controller I give it a 9/10
