I bought this 6 months ago and it has been the best, most quality feeling controller. The price is a little steep but you will not regret it.

Best controller sub $200. While Scuf controllers (among other brands) may have slightly better build quality, the price-to-quality is arguably better in the Elite 2 Controller. All the accessories are very well-built and the paddles are great.

Controller is solid and overall the best xbox controller out right now. I only use two back buttons. If you’re looking for 4 back buttons, I’d suggest the Scuf Instinct Pro. Would also suggest getting the 2 year warranty from Best Buy because controllers are prone to having sticky buttons and stick drift over time.

Best gaming controller. May seem expensive but I’ve bought scuff controllers and they do not seem to last long and fhey cost double the price of these. Love the interchangeable attachments the elite 2 controller comes with, its as if its made to be customizable to fit your gaming needs. 10/10 would recommend to any xbox or PC player

I got 3 different controllers and all of them had a problem where the A button wouldn’t work if you pressed it a certain way. My brother had one where the A button would get stuck in the down position. The updated paddles are better than the old version. I think it’s the best gaming controller out there when it’s working properly.

    Good Controller, Could Be Great

Easily the best controller for more competitive gamers. I purchased the Scuf before this, and was quite disappointed after the left joystick started sticking (not drift, just stuck in the down position) within 3 months of purchase. It was also a bit of a pain (and limited) to program the pads. Then I purchased the Elite S2, and what a difference it made. The magnetic, interchangeable joysticks are a breeze to swap (have to take the whole faceplate off the Scuf). The rear pads are programmable through the Xbox UI, offer more combinations to progrsm, and can save up to three independent configurations for different games or styles (a button on the controller lets you flip between the three without having to go through the UI). And the trigger adjustments are quick and easy to adjust on the fly. My only issue with this controller is stick drift, hence the markdown. While it did hold up well for 10-11 months, I had to send it in to Microsoft for a replacement at the 11th month (Best Buy didn't have any at the time). I did get a replacement after a little over a week, but it was equally bad, if not worse within two weeks. Fortunately, Best Buy had a resupply and I was able to get a new one. A near $200 controller should not fail like that in less than a year. I get that nothing lasts forever, but the gimbles should be better quality for a premium controller. That said, the S2 is worth the purchase if you are into more competitive gaming, however, buy the extended warranty. Will definitely be worth it in the long run.

This should have been a day 1 purchase, even before any games had been installed on the Xbox series x. It feels infinitely better than the lame controller that comes packaged with the console.

After a little more than a year, I am still loving my Elite II's, and this is my 3rd purchase that I just bought! Over a year a ago, i bought my first Elite series II Black with the carrying case, charger, and additional thumbsticks. I thought it might be too heavy for continuous gameplay cuz its got some heft compared to my old Xbox 360 controller which is my favorite to use on pc games over my ps3 controller. But after using it for awhile, you do definitely get used to it. In fact, when i tried to use my old controller i now found the 360 controller too light! So 6 months ago, i bought a second one to replace the 360 controller that i had for coop since my friends wanted to use my Elite II. Then recently i bought a Gaming Laptop that of course needed it's own! I needed only the core since i already had 2, so the core purchase worked out well. Plus they are interchangeable with there parts and colors! Would definitely recommend!!
