Honest review
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every one of these controllers will have a little bit of stick dead zone. I returned one for another and still had dead movement in the sticks, I’m a stickler for stuff like that, and I guess it’s just a design flaw. HOWEVER it surprisingly doesn’t affect my gameplay in any way and I play DayZ and call of Duty a lot. Serves its purpose with the double button assignment feature and better paddles (I use lower half gen 1 elite paddles & upper half gen 2 & it’s perfect)

Not a long lasting controller
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought two of these controllers in the past five years, both of them having the same issue. The left and right bumpers eventually stop working. Lost all the knobs and backside triggers. Like the weight of the controller, it reminds you that it's there.

Great feel!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First Elite controller, and the difference is noticeable. Power button clicks firmly, weight is heavier than normal controller, and triggers feel firmer. I feel the rear buttons are a bit of a gimmick (or I haven't gotten to set them up right) but for right now they get in the way. Definitely hoping it'll last more than my traditional controller, which usually fails because the right trigger ends up becoming sticky.

It's great when it works... but for how long?
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's easily the best controller on the market... when it works. It worked perfectly for about a year and a half then suddenly I developed severe right stick drift. The Microsoft warranty had expired by about 2 weeks, but they were gracious enough to except it anyways. But it was a hassle getting a quality controller back. They admitted that the drift was so bad it couldn't be replaced, so they sent me a refurbished one (uh oh). On this replacement the "A" button didn't function properly, so it went back again. On the next one, its "A" button also didnt work, so away it went. 3rd time is a charm, right? WRONG. This one had a faulty bluetooth transmitter so I couldn't connect it at all. At this point I finally talked Microsoft into a full refund, which they did. I'm giving it 3 stars because it is hands down the best controller on the market when it works properly, but don't be surprised when it goes it.
