I had the original MS elite controller and THIS is how it should have been. My old one’s grips were coming off, the stick drift was crap, and the bumpers broke twice....so far this one seems a bit sturdier and the grips seem more integrated...we’ll see if it sustains

Best Gen 2 elite controller…GEN 1 i kept breaking the bumpers…BUT GEN 2 the buttons are definitely stronger nd the charger last longer

Controller is awesome. This is my second time buying though, they don’t seem to last long.

This is easily my favorite controller to use, easily configurable, durable, and overall just premium. Customer service was also great as I couldnt find the color I wanted and a service tech helped me out.

An excellent product from Xbox. I went in a little later to search for a new controller and found this one. When I went to checkout, it seemed as though my presence upset one of the employees, due to having one last customer for the night. There was no obvious signs of disrespect, just something I picked up while being there. Anyway, great product, great quality and I'm hoping it'll last for years to come.

The controller feels really good and the chnageable stick are very nice but the controller like any other is susceptible to drift after a while and you would think with how much it costs it would last longer than a normal controller.

This was my first controllee with paddles. There is some stick drift but nothing crazy. I do like how the parts are easy to change and software is easy to customize button

This controller is so close to perfect! The back buttons easy to use & not obtrusive, everything feels higher quality than the normal Xbox controller, but the stick drift is ridiculous!! Stick drift has become synonymous with the Elite controllers so I was hesitant to justify the price tag, but the Elite 2 seemed to be the most user-friendly option in the “pro-controller” market. I’ve seen people say they they’ve had theirs for 2+ years without drift issues so I was hopeful to say the least. First week was a dream come true! The added functionality from the back buttons made me realize I’ve been playing at a huge disadvantage for the last couple years. I don’t think I can ever go back to playing FPS games without back buttons, the idea seems so cumbersome now. Around my 2nd week of use I started to notice some slight drift on the left stick. It was barely noticeable & easily corrected so I didn’t think much of it. Fast forward 1 more week and I notice the same thing from my right stick. Barely noticeable, but enough to make me start regretting my purchase. I’ve barely had the Elite 2 controller for a full month & the drift is only getting worse. I love the back buttons SO MUCH that I really don’t want to put it down, but if the stick drift keeps getting progressively worse at this same rate than I will only get another 2-3 weeks of use out of it. This controller does everything right when it comes to offering a premium level “pro-controller” but if the stick drift turns it into a $200 paperweight after 2 months then it’s hardly a justifiable purchase. I’m hopeful Microsoft can turn this around, the biggest talking point of the Elite 2 to-this-day is the stick drift issues. If they can resolve this, then they will arguably have the best option on the market for a premium controller.

Great controller and can feel the quality. I like how you can map the buttons however you like and have 3 different mapping modes if you want for each different game.

The only problem with this elite controller is that they seem to still have not done anything about the subpar left and right bumpers. They are just cheap plastic. Everything else is great quality, serious improvement over the first series. Feels better all around.

Not as crisp as a complete one, but it is just as serviceable as one. I haven't had connectivity issues and it feels fine.

Love how you can Customize your buttons to the back paddles easily through the app and plenty of joysticks and able to tighten the joysticks and accessories to find the one you like. Did get stick drift relatively fast but I do use it a lot.

So for so good! For the most part I like the length of time between charges and the options to modify the various functions of the controller. It is a little heavier than the standard controllers that come with the game system, but once you play with the controller for a while you will get use to the weight. I know the price point is a bit much for some. While I read several reviews speaking as to some having problems with product quality I choose to purchase the maintenance package with this product. Considering how much it would cost to replace it for any reason. Will update this if things changes.

Once you get this controller, you will not be able to go back to any other controller. It is heavy and feels so nice to hold. Quality is top tier.

The paddles and customization make this a must-have controller!! The weight also feels =very good in hand.
