My original purchase was May 15, 2020. This will be my second time returning a controller in 2 years. This one I received after using my replacement warranty July 17, 2021. I purchased a 2 year warranty each time. It’s very upsetting because every time I have to return this faulty product I also have to purchase a warranty that’s going to cost me about $59 which is ridiculous. Each time it's issues with the controls. The first time, it kept drifting during gameplay. Now with this remote it's the left thumbstick that won't respond pressing up and if it does respond, it's very delayed. This is a $180 controller. I've never had to return a $60 controller. I keep giving them more money because I know I'll need a replacement. I would not recommend this unless you want to get stuck in a loop of continuous replacements and warranty purchases of $59 which is the cost of a regular controller which will last you years. It’s definitely not a one-time purchase item. I am very disappointed by this product because when it was working, it was great but it has less than a years use. It's just not made well--at least the ones I keep getting. Maybe it's just Best Buys stock, I don't know. But this is it. Last return, no more warranty purchases for me.

the controller is fantastic when it works, good enough to still get it 4 stars even when it breaks and you have to replace it.

The controller was well designed and fit comfortable to the hand, i have used all sorts of controllers and this one is most natural feeling with adjustible tension joysticks for whatever game i feel like playing

Bought for my son. A Christmas present. He loves the remote and says its much better than the one that came with the unit. The controller is comfortable in hand and buttons are easy to reach! Microsoft got this remote right when they made this one.

This is by far the best XBOX controller however all xbox controller suffer from stick drift so by the warranty. The features are the best in the premium controller market.

good controller with nice weight to it but unfortunately microsoft makes it using cheap lego material. ive had to return this thing like 5 times and now the warranty has expired and i dont want to buy another. bumpers go out first and fast and grips peel bad after a while. getting beat down in games because left and right bumpers dont work.

Love the controller. It does exactly what it says and does it better than the first generation Elite controller. Definitely get the replacement plan offered by Best Buy! If you game hard, you won’t regret it. Let’s face it, stick drift and button issues are a real thing no matter how much money you spend!

I like how I can adjust the trigger buttons and change out analog sticks. Just recently having minor issues with left bumper button. Doesn’t seem to react all the time when I press on it. I think it might be going bad.

I got this for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day and he loves it. He said it’s very good quality but it has a slight learning curve but a great controller.

Feels sturdy and the weight is nice. I’ve not experienced any drift or button issues I did have a launch model that was starting to develop bumper issues but that was after literally thousands of hours of use and only one bumper. I like it so I got another one.

Not a bad controller. If you are using it on a daily basis I would go with a scuff and learn 2 paddle as it’s more reliable

Excellent controller. I bought the first generation when it came out and a Geek Squad warranty (which was, and still is with any gaming peripheral, a necessity) and had to replace it multiple times. This controller, however, they improved DRASTICALLY on the quality. Same great features as the first generation, just updated and perfected this time around.

This was a quick and easy purchase. Available within an hour of ordering.

Not much difference between the first gen controller but has some very good upgrades, stick tension increase and decrease as well as better grips that doesn't peel off but never had this issue on my original 1st gen. This controller seems to have a better latency as well as a more aggressive trigger stops. Love this controller and feel this is the best on the market as of right now.

This controller is very comfortable and the easy to navigate

It a good upgrade from the series 1. I just wish the rubber grip backing. Other then that it’s a great controller for shooters and racing games.

I had a razor wolverine before this, have to say it's awesome. Took a little getting used to but love the flexibility of it. Good job this is one for the books.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. My one son liked it so much that I purchased another for my other son. It's a bit pricy, however it seems that all remotes are going up in price. If you are going to spend the money and are looking for bang for your buck, this seems to be a great choice according to my son's who gain all the time.

Only issue ive had is bumpers being a lil weird (notorious in all xbox controllers). They sell a kit for them though so not much of an issue.

This is simply the best controller out there, period. I upgraded from the previous Elite controller and its worth the price to upgrade. My favorite feature is the adjustable triggers. For some games you want a shorter, quicker trigger and you can easily change it on the fly with the preset stops. The previous model required you to go and map start and stop points, now its automatic.
