I game everyday for a long time and the controller has always gave me the best performance! I was really iffy about buying this one because the series 1 did not last and was messing up all the time. I got this with the 2 year protection and was happy with the feel and durability of the controller. recommend the protection because you never know when these things can go bad!

Overall it’s a great controller for fps games beyond that I stick to my standard controller. This is the second one I’ve owned and the back paddles tend to stick and tabs eventually break. Beyond that it’s what I use on a daily.

I love the feel and quality of this remote. Additionally the best buy totaltech program is amazing, as my dogs chewed up this remote and bestbuy was able to replace this for me at no additional charge.

Paddles have definitelt helped for some games like Cod, but onw of the paddles does not seem to click when placed in certain slots on the back.

Great performance but wears out quickly. This is our second controller like this and it only lasts about a year. However, it performs much better than the standard controller. I would recommend this product but I would also recommend purchasing the extended warranty with it.

The series 2 is more ergonomic then its predecessor. The paddles are a little smaller making it much less likely to accidentally hit a button while setting the controller down, the rechargeable battery has great life, 3 settings for trigger pull for more control and also the joystick tension is adjustable. Buttons can be remapped to suit what u want to do. All in all.. Great controller.

The controller is made from high quality products that when compared to other similar controllers you can feel and see the difference in the controller.

Got to say it feels solid, plays solid and the customization are a great thing. Even if getting a little sore in one position switching to a different thumb stick helps eliminate it for me. Great battery life and having bluetooth capabilities is nice for on the run playing. The nice charging stand and even port in the case is a nice touch to being able to charge it protected.

Literally the best controller I’ve ever owned, great customization options with paddles and the trigger stops along with the thumb stick extension, precise aiming and movement, highly highly recommend.

Love this. Feels great and doesn't cause hand fatigue during long playing times. Received a nice discount for being a total tech member.

I own the original elite series controller and this series 2 by far is the best Xbox controller yet. Built in battery so you can charge via charging dock via USB C and it has new customization on the triggers and the response time is excellent. It also has new grips on it and before the previous version used to peel after some time. If you are a true hardcore gamer I strongly recommend.

Great out of the box but has not withstood the kids abuse and use. Have had to had geek squad check it out twice in a short time. This Would likely last a long time with adult use. Added functions are amazing and customizable. Get the geek squad protection!

Obsessed with this controller! I didn't like the grainy feel of the controller that came with the Xbox Series X, so my friend recommended this. I was hesitant because of the price but Best Buy had a good price on Open Box and I had to go for it. No regrets. This thing feels premium and works great. I'm never going back to the basic Xbox controller.

Biggest selling point is the adjustable trigger pull distance. Paddles on the back are a little difficult to not accidentally push during game play. I removed the 2 bottom paddles and only use the top 2. Worth the money, I’m better at COD now!

The price is high. Let’s get that out of the way. But the features you get including almost full customization and rechargeable battery are awesome. Not to mention this will work with the Xbox Series X and it’s by far the best feeling controller I’ve ever owned. Hopefully it will hold up in the long term.

There are two main issues with this controller that I believe every single controller suffers from, just due to the design. First, unresponsive face buttons. If you're the type of person who grazes over the buttons at an angle with a lighter touch then I can guarantee you will have problems, especially with the Y and A buttons. I have yet to come across a Series 2 Elite that does not have this problem. Out of the dozen or so that I've played with literally every single one had this problem. If you're more of a masher type then you probably will not encounter this, this is an issue specifically for players with a lighter touch. I do not have this issue on the Series 1 Elite or the stock OEM controller. Second, this controller has massive dead zones, and it's a hardware issue not software. No amount of tweaking in the Accessories app will solve this problem, it's clearly hardware related. People who aren't sensitive to dead zones may not notice, but if you rely on precise analog sticks for shooters and such then this controller might drive you nuts. Also, no adjusting the tension in the analog sticks does not help. Many people are having all sorts of other problems, like faulty shoulder buttons, sticky face buttons, etc but I believe the two issues I outlined above are a result of the poor design and will plague literally every single controller, it's just that many people are button mashers or press the buttons at a 90 degree angle so they don't notice. I'm amazed more people aren't complaining about dead zones because that too is an issue I've seen on literally every single Series 2 I've touched, I guess I'm more sensitive to it than others. I absolutely do not expect Microsoft to resolve these problems. Their terrible 90 day limited warranty is a testament to how they don't stand by their own "pro" level products. Even Microsoft doesn't trust these controllers, why should you?

The feeling of the controller is amazing. The rubber gribs and texture along with the weight makes it feel very comfortable. The charging dock is also amazing.
