Great controller for improving gaming skill
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller is great for gamers that play fps especially Call of Duty. The fact that you can use paddles in the back of the controller to replace using the A button to jump really improves accuracy when playing multiplayer. I recommend this controller.

The best controller I've ever used.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first version of the pro controller and I really liked it. The joysticks were always an issue though. This thing is awesome. I've charged it twice in a month and a half of use between my PC and Series X. The ability to adjust the tension of the sticks themselves is one of the biggest improvements. I tell my friends that play Destiny with me they need to get this controller all the time.

Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded to this controller after my regular one died. This one is great. The paddles make for quicker gameplay and the battery lasts all day easily. Plus it feels more solid than the regular ones.

Which I really enjoy. The customizable bumpers in the back allow for more fluid motion and transition. All in all, it was a well invested item to my arsenal of gaming gear.

Red elite controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the way this thing feels in my hands. I don't use the extra buttons so it's nice how you can remove them. The thumbsticks feel nice too and you can swap them out for different ones.

Love It
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller should come standard with every Xbox! Makes the regular controller feel like a toy. Grip and adjustments are great, no need for batteries or charge packs, and the case is a nice touch to conceal it and keep clean. I love it!

Worth it with the additional coverage
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great controller, love the higher tension thumb sticks and paddles. Make sure you get the added coverage from Best Buy because as with any Microsoft controller, stick drift and button registration becomes an issue.

Great product
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They are good they are reliable they tend to not last as long as the old school ones but no one makes things to last 15 years anymore. I would say they are still the best option out there.

Best controller on market but is not consistent.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Iv'e tried just about all the top brand controllers and the Elite Series is in my opinion the best for high level gameplay. However, The life span of these controllers are very short. I have owned about 3 of these and eventually the controller will experience a manufacturer issue. Sometimes, the LB & RB buttons will give multiple inputs or not even execute the command when pressed. The same issue was experienced on all 3 controllers and not very helpful when you send them in for service and they return to have the same problem. Microsoft really needs to fix how they make these controllers and run better test to prevent these things from constantly happening. Best controller, but will probably malfunction eventually.

Probabaly the best thing available, but not great
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a total love hate relationship with this controller. I had my Elite 1 for about two years and it worked great but eventualy the Y button failed and the stick drift was so bad that I upgraded to the elite 2. I also bought one for my 9 year old at the same time, within a few weeks my bumper started failing and stick drift was immediate, It has never not drifted, luckily I play war zone so I just adjust the dead zone and it has no affect in game. Unfortunately I didn't get a warranty with that controller so i bought a second one this time from Best Buy so I could get the warranty. Ironically the one that I got the warranty for has held up great with no problems except it also has stick drift...........

Posted .Hello Greg,
We're sorry that there's an issue with your Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. The manufacturer's warranty has recently been extended to one year, so if your Elite 2 falls within that period we recommend contacting Xbox Support for assistance here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/wireless-controller-solution
Hope that helps,

Elite Until Broken
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller feels like quality the first time you hold the controller. The grips are comfortable, the interchangeable sticks and D-Pad make you feel that the controller is designed for anyone. The paddles add even more customization than the average gamer knew they needed. With features like this how could this controller be rated any less than a 5 you may wonder. Well lets just say that the experience is "Elite" until the controller falls apart, literally. The Series 2 was my second go at the Elite controllers from Microsoft and at first I fell in love again and forgot how my original elite controller broke. However after nearly a year of using the controller my left stick's button (LS) was no longer operational. I made due by making my paddles the LS and RS buttons and have grown accustom to utilizing those. Then the second fault occurred, my left bumper no longer registered. Now I could've just thrown in another set of paddles to get me by, but the paddles aren't meant to replace broken components. So at the end of the day, the controller truly is a fantastic experience and changes the way I viewed controllers. However I am 0/2 with working Elite controllers, I had insurance on the controller via GeekSquad so I did swap it out for a new one. Just buyer beware on the fragile nature of the controller. Highly Recommend Geek Squad insurance.
