Really not worth it for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Real talk. This controller is great, while it works. Get the extended warranty either from the retailer you purchase it from, or direct from Microsoft. I have had 3 of the controllers all start to present issues within 1 year of purchase. Stick drift, bad bumpers or triggers and sticking A,B,X,Y buttons. No drops, no spills Moderate gaming use. Be warry. This is sold as a premium product, and IMO the quality and durability falls far short of the price tag.

Great controller
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.0 issues after several months usingbthis controller nearly every day. 10x better than the standard controller. I use scuf paddles with it. The custom mapping with the 3 presets is great if you like having different mapping for different games.

Back to Elite Status!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this controller has perfomed well despite negative reviews regarding stick drifting. I come from using the Razer Wolverine Tournament edition and still enjoy that controller, but its just something about having the option to play wirelessly and still getting decent performance results makes my gameplay experience so much more enjoyable. I also do prefer the back paddles and adjustable stick tention over the Razer as well. Hopefully the quality lasts long.

THIS IS A STEAL! SUCH A GREAT DEAL!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely FANTASTIC. I had a scuf controller and it is literally a $300 paperweight.I wish I would have gotten this sooner. There are so many things you can do with this. I love it. I highly recommend you get the extended warranty though throw geek squad because I have read some reviews from some full-time high end streamers who have had issues. However, I am very please. I've streamed over maybe 50 hours and the battery is STILL full. I'm blown away. Stay away from Scuf...this is your controller. I promise.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First elite controller I’ve ever bought, and i now i dont think i can use or go back to a regular controller anymore. Firm, has some wight to it, definitely a premium feel. Would recommend it to everyone, it gets some getting use to having the paddles in the back if you’re using all of them but, you get used to it in no time

Expensive but awesome controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First things first this is an expensive controller and there a lot of other things to spend money on. But if you have the funds or are looking for a gift for an Xbox gamer, this is an awesome controller package. Everything has been built from the ground up to be the best (within reason) way to play on Xbox. The interchangeable parts, the quick settings for how different parts like the d pad react to your input is really well thought out, the nice bonus here is the really nice case it comes in, the usb c charging capability and the charging dock that can either be in the case or outside the case.

Was great, but not built for longevity
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased mine shortly after it released, though it wasn't delivered until November of 2019. I'm mostly a PC gamer, but I need a controller for occasional games that don't require M+KB. This seemed like a very robust and long lasting option compared to regular xbox controllers at the time. In short, the features are great, and it worked very well for about a year, but then it started having issues with the bumpers not registering a press every time. Now it takes many presses to get the bumpers to register a keypress. The joysticks also have a tendency to bounce too far to the opposite direction when I release them, causing me to snap the opposite direction I was intending to face. I called Microsoft to ask about repair, and they were very nice, but also explained I was out of warranty and repair would cost $100 plus shipping. A new one is only $165, so that repair cost feels a little steep. It seems like such a waste to throw it away after not even two years, but it's no longer reliable for gaming. I was certainly hoping it would be easier and cheaper to repair. The controller has great features and feels better to hold for long gaming sessions, but I'm a little disappointed with the longevity of the device.

was a great fan of this but still has problems
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.got plenty of use of mine and enjoyed it greatly but like the series 1 before it the price increase does not come with durability increases. will the grip issue of the series 1 seems to be 99% fixed i was/ am seeing minor expansion after this year that could become problematic if other parts like the bumpers and sticks retained their life better. *when i mention durability ive never once thrown or otherwise put nonstandard ware and tear abuse on the controller but it seems that since even the 360 era microsofts controllers just aren't made to last daily use of 5+ hours for a full year
