BEST CONTROLLER FOR FPS ESPECIALLY APEX LOL
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so just to put this out there i am mkr being paid for this review. So i have tried many pro controllers in the past from scuf, turthe beach and dualsense edge and this by far is the best one as far as responsiveness, comfort and grip, and the 4 mappable back paddles, and interchangable thumbsticks which is why i settled on this one for my FPS games like Apex Legends and The Finals, ive pesosnlly seen a great improvemnt in my gameplay espcially tracking and aiming, granted skill plays a huge part but having a controller like this keeps my thumbs on the sticks at all times with the rear paddles. I reccmomend it, you can use it on xbox series X/S and also on PC, works great with handheld PCs like ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion Go. If the price tag is a bit much i reccomend waiting for a sale or just buy a second hand one like i did from Best Buy i paid 110 for mine its practically new no issues 3 months in.

Cannot map extra buttons to keyboard buttons
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are buying this controller because you want to be a pro gamer who uses can press the A, B, X, Y buttons while still using the joy sticks, then this IS the controller for you. If you are buying this controller because you like to play game pad compatible PC games or driving sim games and just want a few more buttons to map actions to, DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER. You cannot remap the extra buttons to other functions not already on the controller. Pros: Build quality is top notch. Feels very solid and the customizable joy sticks and D-pad are a an amazing feature. Battery life is solid going several days without recharging with daily use. Cons: There are some firmware issues that can cause the controller not to be recognized correctly by some windows systems. This issue has been on going for years. That said, even though it doesn't get recognized correctly sometime, it still functions as a game pad all the time. The biggest issue is that the extra buttons on the back of the controller CANNOT BE REMAPPED TO OTHER KEYBOARD BUTTONS. These buttons can only be mapped to buttons already on the controller. This is a completely ridiculous software lockout that makes these buttons obsolete for my purposes. My only reason for keeping my rating as high as it is is that this controller does what it is designed to do and it does it well.

Good but not great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this controller. It is comfortable and ergonomic in hand, feels like it has a high build quality, looks nice and has nice customization. The paddles on the back really improved my FPS play. The battery life is also fantastic. However, the build quality, although feels great, is just not great. The buttons, specifically trigger and bumpers start to fail rather quickly and the stick drift right out of the box. If it were not for this, I would give this controller 5/5 stars. But because of this, I am purchased another controller and I am going to try that out and maybe jump ship. This controller introduced me to the world of back button paddles, so I am grateful for that, but in the end, I do not game enough for this controller to be failing me, so I am on to something else. If you are handy and own the proper tools, you can replace the switches for fairly cheap, which may make this controller more enticing at its price, but most people are not going to attempt that.

Solid product - from a Professional FPS player
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I stick by the elite controllers, they have an amazing hand feel and the paddles on the rear are in absolute perfect positioning for my hands - biggest reason I keep returning to them, I can’t game without them now it’s almost like you forget they’re there and it just becomes a regular button that naturally integrated. My only complaint is the bumpers- the elite controllers are notorious for having the bumpers go out after a year or two ( and the grips start popping off, but some precision super glue or adhesive and it’s like nothing ever happened ) so you do end up needing to replace them every couple years - I’m on my 4th elite controller since the very first gen 1 elite controller release.

Pro-Level Control Without the Premium Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 Core is a fantastic middle ground for serious gamers who want high-end performance without the full cost of the original Elite. The build quality is excellent—solid, comfortable, and responsive. The textured grips and adjustable tension thumbsticks make a noticeable difference in precision, especially in competitive shooters and racing games. It’s fully compatible with Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, PC, and cloud gaming setups. While it doesn’t include the paddles or extra accessories out of the box, you can upgrade later with the component pack if needed. Battery life is strong, and the USB-C charging is fast and reliable. If you want a premium feel and customizable performance without going all-in on the full Elite bundle, the Core version delivers where it counts.

Changed my gaming experience forever !! :D
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best controllers I’ve ever owned for my Xbox Since 2019. The extra buttons and paddles made my gaming experience so much easier and enjoyable, especially with mechanics being a lot more complex than it was a decade ago. Addition with different profiles, I’m able to switch depending on the game I was playing whether it was Fortnite, call of duty or rocket league this controller did it all. For the price, I say it’s worth it with the functionality that it brings compared to the standard Xbox controller.

Much better than original equipment.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best and worst controller xbox puts out. It feels amazing in your hand and the charging feature is awesome. All the different buttons on the back are great. Only issue is i had to return 2 of these before i found one that the triggers didn't feel sticky right out the box. I watched some YouTube videos on the issue and i fixed the 3rd one by putting an alcohol pad in the back of the trigger with a skinny piece of metal. Apparently there's glue or something that is always back there. After several week my right thumb stick drifts. Other than the stupid issues it's still way better than the ones the xbox comes with.

Premium Feel, Minor Issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Elite Series 2 is honestly one of the best-feeling controllers I’ve used. It’s solid, comfortable, and the customization options are great — the paddles and adjustable triggers make a big difference. The battery lasts a long time too. My only real complaint is the stick drift, which showed up after a while and was disappointing for how much it costs. Still, when it’s working right, it’s easily my favorite controller.

Amazing Non Aftermarket Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a controller with more responsiveness and that is what I got. Compared to a standard non elite or modified controller, this is more reliable and responsive. The amount of times I depress LT or RT and have to wait for the game to recognize I am trying to perform an action was tiresome. Unless it was CoD and/or a game I could set trigger dead zones, timing dodges or specific actions would input early or late. With the triggers being adjustable from a full pull, to half or even a click, saves me a headache while performing dodges or counter attacks. The rounded face D Pad also amazing for games that have upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right options. Having to press and hold UP and Right, etc on a normal D Pad again tiresome. Amazing product and I wish I could give it 5 stars, however I want other color options that don't require me to buy an accessory kit that would cost more than an already bundled controller OR having to order custom through Microsoft. Pros: - Well made with solid weight to it - Default profile without back buttons - 3 Customizable profiles for back buttons - Add or remove back buttons with ease - Swappable sticks and D pad with strong magnets - 3 levels of adjustablility for trigger stops Cons: - Requires Xbox Accessories App on PC - Does not properly indicate battery life Wired or BT - Colored Core options do not come with full accessories at reduced price, even then you over pay to add the accessories with a Elite Core - Unless custom ordered through Microsoft all buttons follow black and grey color scheme

By far best controller out!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the original Xbox elite controller and absolutely loved it. Still not a single issue with it besides the grips starting to peel but that’s after a couple years. The new elite series 2 feels so good in the hands and the fact that the battery is built in makes it even better. All the options of fine tuning to you’re liking is incredible for whatever games you play. I don’t have full use of my right hand in my pinky and ring finger so a controller like this with the paddles on the back make it easier for multitasking while gaming.

Must have for Xbox players
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the controller for it's functionality. I just feel like for the price point, you shouldn't experience any problems with it. But that could be on me from dropping it a few times, whoops. Luckily I got the extended warranty which I highly recommend getting too.

I love the controller. Has a couple flaws though
|Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Problems: buttons (LB AND RB) start to work less over time, causing presses to not register. Some minor issues with the rubberized material peeling at the seem after a while. Too expensive to be having this problem at $180 pros: great controller with amazing customization. love the paddles too. it is great to hold and aiming with them is pretty much a breeze. I also love the adjustable triggers, and the case it comes with that can charge the thing.

Xbox elite series 2
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First Impressions: Sleek, Minimal, and Purposeful The "Core" in the name is significant. The controller arrives in a sleek white finish (with a black option), presenting a minimalist, almost sporty aesthetic compared to the full Elite Series 2's included carry case. Don't mistake "Core" for "stripped-down" in terms of build quality. The moment you pick it up, you feel the heft and premium construction. The textured grips provide exceptional hold, ensuring it stays firmly in your hands during the most intense gaming sessions. The core components—the high-grade buttons, triggers, and hybrid D-pad—are all here and feel exceptional right out of the box.

Microsoft - Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller Review
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the only controller that works for me. It's got a quality feel as a heavier controller, the paddles are ergonomically placed, and the thumbsticks allow for good control. However, I would only recommend this controller to those that are gentle with their controllers or that have the disposable income to keep replacing it. I have had at least 8 of these over the years and I have to keep replacing because the thumbsticks get drift rather quickly, and I've had frequent issues with the paddles becoming unusable or the bumpers becoming unusable. Get the protection plan!
