My first one got stuck drift in 2 months of playing a few hours after work. Being my first controller with paddles, I caved and got another one. The second one lasted 5 months, then the right bumper started double pressing. Not really sticking, but you couldn’t only click it once. It’s not a huge problem, just a little annoying for $190

I’ve owned the previous generation elite controller and this is a great upgrade. The paddles are smaller which helps me from accidentally pressing them all the time. The controller feels better overall.

But after a year of ownership, the bumper buttons have started to fail. This is unfortunately a common issue with these controllers and there is no long-term fix. I'll just have to buy something else and this becomes an extremely expensive paperweight.

They made a lot of adjustments from the first series. I love having 3 presets now, as well as the extra trigger locks. Being able to adjust the joystick tension is amazing!

The extra paddles on the bottom are very helpful on games that allow for button customization. My biggest disappointment with the controller is that some buttons become sticky over time where they fail to register in-game. Also, thumbstick drifting becomes an issue over time. I have had to replace this controller already for this issue. Paying $180 for a controller that fails only after a few months of use is VERY disappointing.

Had drift in the right stick for a while but haven't experienced it in some time. It's comfortable to use and I plan to be using it for a long time.
