Doesnt work after less than 6 months

Was in the middle of playing xbox when the controller died. I thought the hattery just needed to charge so i put it in the charger. Still nothing. This controller was well taken care of and placed on a shelf put of reach of kids when not in use. Before this the controller was great with a real long battery life.

Weight is a little heavy and grip texture is perfect for those sweaty games. Downside is after 6 month to a year you will notice the right bumper having intermittent failure as well as stick drift in right thumb stick. I recommend warranty because it is a common defect that happens in almost all Elite 2 controllers.

Battery life is better, more mapping options, but past that, the buttons feel flimsier than ever, the buttons and bumpers will start to stick no matter how well you take care of it, and they decided to make the removable parts not interchangeable between the generations, just as a power move, don't see any benefit to that
