It's nice that Microsoft finally acknowledged that it was a problem and extended the warranty but it would be better if they would fix the issue. On my second controller in 4 months so we'll see how it holds up. A little on the pricey side when considering the quality issues they have been having.

Not until they revamp the qualty of the controller.it's not worth a $200 lottery that you know the timer is counting down until its unusable.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While the elite certainly does not feel as lightweight and cheap as the standard Xbox controller, there seems to be a design flaw specifically with the letter buttons. When, pressing the A button, it almost never registers, unless I press it with excessive force. I find it to happen most often when moving from the thumb stick to the A button, resulting in pressing it in a slightly upward direction. I already bought one controller, returned it for a replacement, and now the replacement does the exact same thing right out of the box a little worse than the original one. Will be returning.

However I’ve barely had mine over a month and the left trigger is already stuck and it randomly disconnects while playing. Sometimes the paddles also don’t register when using them. I definitely wouldn’t buy another.
