Built in battery performs as specified. Usually 40 hours life on a single charge even afyer 6/8 montha of use. The RB and LB buttons are still iffy. RB button works half the time after hours of use. The A button sometimes doesn't work when pressed. If you're gonna buy this item you might as well get a warranty.

I would consider myself a hardcore gamer and after about 6 months, these controllers always seem to deteriorate. My joysticks have drift that I cannot fix by tightening them anymore and I did not get the Geek Squad plan as I didn't have the money at the time.

Unfortunately, my first devolved a bad control stick drift within 3 months. Got that replaced, now my replacement the rb and left trigger no longer work. So, as long as it works. Amazing. When it doesn’t...well, def buy the geek squad warranty cuz Microsoft wouldn’t replace the second.
