I have been thru 3 in the past several years. 2 elite version 1's and about to return version 2. Make sure you get a protection plan on these. Due to all these controllers becoming prone to controller drift. Hints why Microsoft extended the warranty on them due to the class action lawsuit.

The Gen 1 version of this controller broke every 3-6 months. Bumpers and buttons would literally fall off. I replaced it with this one, and the first one out of box had a bad thumbstick. The second one, which I'm now using seems solid. Feels great to use but the durability leaves a lot to be desired.

However, the buttons get stuck after very little time using it and it becomes very annoying. Yes, you can use the paddles as an alternative but sometimes there’s games you want to play regularly. 3 stars overall.

Terrible drift right out of the box

The paddles work wonders in first person shooters. Stick drift is terrible!!!!!! Right out of the box you expect a brand new 180$ controller to be perfect. Noppp!!! Not here always has drift.
