It's almost as if you have to press the button with a bit more force for confirmation, which is a no go for me. I googled this issue, and others are having similar problems. I didn't get the Best Buy warranty the first purchase, but got it after my first exchange because I don't want to take a chance with a $180 controller that was poorly made. I highly recommended the warranty, or just wait for Microsoft to improve this product. On a side note, the original Elite Series was perfect, and it still works despite the joystick cover wearing off after years of use.

Controller feels very high quality, looks and feels great but just doesn’t seem to function so. I’ve never had this many issues with my past $60 Xbox controllers. Disappointed their premium version is a downgrade in reliability.
