Simply the best!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the best!! Out of all the controllers I’ve used the elite series 2 beats them all! Vastly improved from the series 1. Heavy feel in your hand, superior battery life, fully rubberized, interchangeable control sticks which the tension can also be adjusted, trigger tension can also be adjusted. 4 additional triggers can be added although I don’t use them because the way I grip the controller I accidentally press them sometimes, so you can conveniently remove them or only use the ones you want. Multiple users can be saved to the controller for different configurations as well. Highly recommend paying for the geek squad protection plan, as it is a replacement plan. So if ANYTHING at all ever goes wrong with it they will replace it with a brand new one. My sticks started drifting so I brought it in and they replaced it with no questions asked, they were out of stock so they just shipped it to my home and had it in 2 days.

Elite For The Elitetest
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So for so good! For the most part I like the length of time between charges and the options to modify the various functions of the controller. It is a little heavier than the standard controllers that come with the game system, but once you play with the controller for a while you will get use to the weight. I know the price point is a bit much for some. While I read several reviews speaking as to some having problems with product quality I choose to purchase the maintenance package with this product. Considering how much it would cost to replace it for any reason. Will update this if things changes.

Buy this, now!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Words can't express the quality of this controller. It blows any of the other wireless controllers away with its solid construction. It has metal buttons, interchangeable joysticks and D-pad. You can fully remap the controls plus you get the 4 extra trigger buttons to use if wanted which is sweet. The internal battery is a beast! I charge my controller maybe once a week now versus every day. It really lasts 50 hours+. The grips on the controller work great, plus it's the same size as the standard controllers so it feels right in your hands. Last but not least it comes with a well built, rugid carrying case that can charge the controller while it's inside. This controller is a must have for any passionate gamer! You will not be disappointed!

Great concept, marred by QC issues
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 1st elite controller was 1 that I absolutely adored. Until about 6 months of ownership and the right stick started to drift to the point of un-playable. When the new 1 was announced, I thought I would give it a shot. It arrived on release day and worked great for the 1st couple of hours. Then I noticed that the A started to stick or just not register. This is apparently a known issue and MS support is supposed to take care of it. Time will tell... Aside from this, if you were a fan of the 1st, this should be an upgrade. The rubber grip fully wraps and is something really special. The 3rd trigger adjustment is actually really cool for fine tuning. For example, on the left trigger I have it 1 click for a slightly shorter stop. On the right, I have it maxed out for the shortest possible pull. On call of duty, I am able to fire a pistol or marksman rifle faster as the trigger resets faster. The sticks are still a highlight with adjustable tension, and different sticks let you adjust the length for speed or accuracy. The D-pad is still probably the best on any controller. It's accurate and can be swapped from the disk to a traditional 4 way in a matter of seconds. Lastly, the charging. USB C is the way of the future and its in there. The carrying case also allows for charging. Great controller, but the QC issues really bring it down.

Posted .Hey Jack,
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. We're glad that you're enjoying it for the most part, but sorry to hear there's an issue with the A button. If you haven't already done so, we recommend exchanging it for a new one at Best Buy. Otherwise, please reach out to Xbox Support for assistance here: https://aka.ms/AA4w2z7

Elite Until Broken
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Xbox Elite Series 2 controller feels like quality the first time you hold the controller. The grips are comfortable, the interchangeable sticks and D-Pad make you feel that the controller is designed for anyone. The paddles add even more customization than the average gamer knew they needed. With features like this how could this controller be rated any less than a 5 you may wonder. Well lets just say that the experience is "Elite" until the controller falls apart, literally. The Series 2 was my second go at the Elite controllers from Microsoft and at first I fell in love again and forgot how my original elite controller broke. However after nearly a year of using the controller my left stick's button (LS) was no longer operational. I made due by making my paddles the LS and RS buttons and have grown accustom to utilizing those. Then the second fault occurred, my left bumper no longer registered. Now I could've just thrown in another set of paddles to get me by, but the paddles aren't meant to replace broken components. So at the end of the day, the controller truly is a fantastic experience and changes the way I viewed controllers. However I am 0/2 with working Elite controllers, I had insurance on the controller via GeekSquad so I did swap it out for a new one. Just buyer beware on the fragile nature of the controller. Highly Recommend Geek Squad insurance.

Excellent Xbox Elite Controller
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love the elite controller. Thanks to Best Buy and the Protection Plan I was able to replace my broken controller. Plus I got this on sale. I do love the weight of it and the paddle buttons on the bottom for extra buttons. The D-pad has a nice feel and so does the joystick. I do like the battery life. I myself never ran out of power. It comes with a case that you can sit your controller in and connect the USB-C cable so it can charge inside the case. I love that I can pair this with my PC.

Xbox Elite Series 2 Black Controller
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had gotten an opened-box all black one for roughly $60 plus $35 warranty. Easily the best controller for any shooter game or even a regular gamer that needs buttons that are easier to press. My opened box one was missing the usb-c cable but that wasn’t a big deal. The controller functions like it is brand new. Easily the best controller I have owned and when this warranty is over and the controller breaks down the line I will 100% be buying another one!!

Elite controller for the win
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Xbox elite controller definitely is the step up every xbox gamer should be given the gift of, from being super comfortable to ultimate customization on textures to the controls, even the 4-paddle trigger backing to the controller is next level

I love this controller but it's falling apart.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the hefty weight the controller has, and I can't play without the paddles anymore. However, after about a year of use the right bumper sometimes drops the input. while one of the paddles feel stiff. On top of if I squeeze it a little to hard it cuts off. And it randomly disconnects. I really love this controller. I just wish it lasted a little longer for the price tag

Best bang for buck

Great controller at a reasonable price.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I almost forgot how great it was playing with a paddle controller! No need to take your thumbs off of the joysticks anymore! This controller is amazing! It is a bit heavy, but you get used to the weight very quickly. I love that it does not have to have the batteries replaced and you can just set it on the charger in the case to charge it up. The customization options are great as well. It comes with different height and style joysticks, and the standard D-pad if you prefer that. You can also adjust the tensions for both joysticks which is awesome. I love everything about this controller! I only wish it came in more colors! If you've never played with a paddle controller, you are missing out! This is probably better than a Scuff controller and a bit cheaper too!

Almost a must have
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best controllers out there, period. Great customization for buttons and sticks. Nice weight and works on almost anything. And remember that your settings are saved on the controller so they travel with you. Downside is that this can only be programmed on a PC or Xbox (as far as I know). The one thing that is bad is that I've had two of these and within 2 years the RB button stopped working on both(this is a known issue) so get a warranty. If Microsoft could fix this it would be perfect (for most)

Nice
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bought these controllers mutiple times and i will say there is a bitter sweet relationship with them. They allow for an overall better gaming performance for sure but much like all other controllers stick drift is a major issue after awhile, and if you can fix it then it can last for a few years, but eventually the wear starts to become apparent like with all other things.
