It's an amazing controller, but it is expensive.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I game primarily on my pc, but I also primarily use a controller. I know, blasphemous. But for me using a controller is the most comfortable gaming experience. This is the king of controllers. Peak controller. No comparison. It's plug in (or wirelessly connect) and play. 99% of games support it. There really hasn't been a single flaw that I've run into. It feels fantastic and the build quality is something you'd expect a $180 controller to have. Obviously if you have $180 to spend on a controller, there really isn't too much competition, and rightfully so, as this thing has reached peak controller. I recommend it, but really only if you want the best of what controllers have to offer, and can afford it.

Perfect Controller Marred by One Thing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 - the first was returned for a "sticky" A button (intermittently did not work unless you pressed hard. I returned that, and some time later purchased a new one when they were on sale - the A button is about 95% ok and I'm good with that. I'd recommend the Geek Squad replacement coverage if you're going to invest this much in the controller, as there are plenty of online reviews that state there is some level of poor quality control. Aside from that, it truly is the perfect controller with the customizability, paddles, and (generally) solid construction. Sound purchase for the price.

Great controller. Only minor build quality issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as the use of this controller after 5 years of using the elite controllers I can't even go back to using a regular controller. I love this controller. On the other hand I've replaced my controller 3 times due to the left or right bumper not working after a period of time. My advice make sure to pay for the best buy coverage and replace it as needed.

Maybe the greatest controller I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After finally acquiring a Series X, I was content to use the standard Xbox wireless controllers. I even invested in a PowerA Fusion controller that was on clearance for less than $50. But when this came available for $139 during the 15 days of Gaming promotion I felt compelled to give it a try. I can't recall a better deal being made. Even at full MSRP it is a great value. The design, the weight and feel. The quality of materials used plus the functionality and countless configurations are unmatched. Why buy anything but the best? I think it is a highly durable product that will give you the greatest satisfaction. I have zero regrets.

One of the best controllers ever
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got an open box - I had to return it via the Microsoft warranty 3 months later but for the price (120$) it was worth it since they sent me a brand new one right after.

Amazing controller for competitive gamers.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The price is decent with this controller but when you look at other competitor controllers with paddles like Scuf which go for (200+) the price is fair. Its a huge improvement from the first elite controller. Better thumb stick options now with higher tension and Xbox 360 size thumb sticks. Battery life on this controller is amazing I can play for days without charging. Paddles on the back take more force to engage which feels a lot better while using. Only downside and this is nitpicking is that the tension needs to be a little higher on the 3rd setting to replicate the perfect 360 controller. Also the 360 thumb sticks don't have enough grip. But I highly recommend also buy the 2 year warranty. So that if you receive wear and tear or any other issues you can replace it.

So buttery smooth
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This controller, albeit really expensive is SOOOO nice. I had the original elite controller and it held up ok in retrospect, had it for a few years but the rubber grips on the side were starting to peel. With this version it looks like Microsoft learned from their mistakes and made a 2 piece handle that can be easily replaced. The controller feels lighters and I love the rechargeable battery the tactile feel of the grip handles. Honestly I could go on and on about this controller, but if you're considering buying it its because you game alot and you want the best. This controller is hands down the best and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

Great controller, good value, easy to use and edit
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m on my third elite controller… but the durability is waaaay beyond the scuf. If you’re looking for paddles and button mapping, don’t go anywhere else. Only gets 4 stars because I have had to replace two one for stick drift and one because the X A and RB all started to fail.

Got it for half price as open box, perfect deal
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it for half price as open box, it had a problem on the right trigger not getting all the clicks, a 2 min YouTube video and WD40 made the fix, it's working perfectly since the, great deal, fantastic quality. My favorite part is the extra 4 buttons on the back that I can configure the way I want, the triggers travel is also great, it does worth the extra price

Nice Controller.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Feels good in my hand when playing video games. I like the extra functionality that the paddles add. It feels a little heavy, but not enough to bother long play sessions.

Was great, but not built for longevity
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased mine shortly after it released, though it wasn't delivered until November of 2019. I'm mostly a PC gamer, but I need a controller for occasional games that don't require M+KB. This seemed like a very robust and long lasting option compared to regular xbox controllers at the time. In short, the features are great, and it worked very well for about a year, but then it started having issues with the bumpers not registering a press every time. Now it takes many presses to get the bumpers to register a keypress. The joysticks also have a tendency to bounce too far to the opposite direction when I release them, causing me to snap the opposite direction I was intending to face. I called Microsoft to ask about repair, and they were very nice, but also explained I was out of warranty and repair would cost $100 plus shipping. A new one is only $165, so that repair cost feels a little steep. It seems like such a waste to throw it away after not even two years, but it's no longer reliable for gaming. I was certainly hoping it would be easier and cheaper to repair. The controller has great features and feels better to hold for long gaming sessions, but I'm a little disappointed with the longevity of the device.

Potluck refurb.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the heavier remote. Wish you could map out the extra buttons for more potential controls like mapping a PC keyboard. Previous owner clearly was hard on their equipment on even refurbished value was 3/5, maybe.

Good Feeling
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After not having used an Xbox controller since the first one, which was gigantic, this is a great feeling controller. A little small for my hands but it does bother me and still feels great. The buttons are responsive, and the build quality is great. Sometimes it has had a hard time connecting to my pc but that could just be a me thing.

Good controller

I love the elite but it is fragile.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This WAS my 2nd elite. Ended up getting the white and black recently becuz this elite bumpers were messed up and the left thumb stick wouldn’t move my in game character forward nor sprint. I was out of warranty and couldn’t send it in. So I now have 3 elites smh. Series 1 and two series 2. Lol it’s a great controller for PVP and PVE. Just don’t drop the controller. Not even once.

Great and have not had stick drift
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about stick drift when I first got this controller and returned it originally before deciding I would buy it again, but it's yet to happen to me and I really enjoy this controller. Ironically, Xbox has perfected and redone the design over the past couple years instead of releasing an Elite Series 3. Additionally, they purposefully made the Xbox Series X controllers small, and I think it was so people would buy the bigger Elite Series 2 controller. Because that's why I bought it, the regular Xbox Controllers and smaller and awful compared to this.

The sole method for playing the series X

It is the sole controller I utilize for gaming on the Xbox Series X.

Always get the warranty no matter what
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the paddles the design and honestly most of it. Where my issue comes in is the reliability/ construction materials. I’ve bought the warranty every time now as I’m on my 5th controller in 3 years. Always get the warranty always this will break especially the thumb sticks drift paddles lose functionality and the lb rb after a while of using while break. I play a ton Of 1st person and moba so my ability’s are mapped and set up which I love and you can have multiple loadouts for sodden games which is always a plus.

Xbox Elite controlle is solid
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It feels much nicer than your run of the mill controller. As a casual gamer the back bunper buttons are kinda cool but take a lot of getting used to. The texturizes grips are great and the quality is good. Recommend grabbing on sale cause its not quite worth the full sticker price.
