Overall, the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller delivers a premium gaming experience with its customizable design, superior build quality, and enhanced performance capabilities. I got this as a Christmas gift and have really enjoyed it thus far. I really love the feel and grip of this controller, along with the customization that comes with the interchangeable pieces (which require no tools/all magnetic). As a more “casual” gamer, while I really do enjoy it, I’m not certain I’d say personally that it’s worth near $200 and not certain I’d buy it on my own had I not recorded it as a gift. For more hard core games, maybe, but if you’re a more casual gamer, I don’t know if there’s just that much more value in this over a standard, far less expensive XBox controller. But if you’re getting as a gift (for free) or just got the money to burn, it’s definitely a great controller.

Feels like about 100 dollars worth of controller for the low low price of 200 dollars. Honestly it has some neat features, the typical things found on previous iterations of elite and scuf controllers but with added things like 3 quick change profiles, adjustable stick tension and a very long lasting recharablge battery pack that recharges when placed back inside its case. I'll be eager to see if my favorite microsoft controller feature will make a triumphant return on the elite version 2....stick drift, it's been missing so far, but its not outside its factory warranty period...so there's still time.

IMHO the price point on this controller is a real blocker. I would have tried one years ago at $100, maybe even $130, but near $200 for a controller is a lot to ask. That being said, thanks to not going out for a year I've saved enough money to justify this kind of opulence and I'm glad I went for it. It comes with a charging dock you can rest it on which is nice. I'm mainly a single player gamer so having 1 controller constantly charged is a big deal. I dropped the flippers on the back and swapped out joysticks. The directional pad is an improvement (and you can swap it out too if you disagree). You don't need this controller, but if you're interested and have money to burn you have my blessing.

I really enjoy this controller. It has a good feel. The grips are nice. The paddles on the back are easy to reach. Programming the buttons is super easy. Some people have reported stick drift, which I have never experienced. I own two of these controllers. I will say I have never paid full price for one. I bought used off best buy and ebay (with no issues).

Been an xbox gamer since the very beginning. This is the absolute best controller I've ever used. The ability to customize the pull on the triggers was huge. I like them on the midpoint setting so if you're playing FPS it takes less time and there is also a hair trigger option as well. The extra buttons on the back are customizable and make it great for certain games where you don't want to take your right thumb off the stick to hit a face button. Its a lot heavier than the original controller but all the components are higher quality. And the texturized grips on the handles make for non slip and feel good. Battery life lasts a long time and its internal. Overall price is what it is but you're getting really good quality for what you're purchasing.

Altogether its a pretty decent controller. It DOES require some setup to get full function but after that its great. Button input is crisp and it can handle multiple profiles for different games. My only negative would be its not as grippy as i figured it would be. Its better rhan standard controllers but still feels like it slips from my hands.

This is a well built controller. The only downside is that the face buttons are not very sensitive. This means that you need to use extra force when using the A,B,X,Y buttons. The buttons on the regular Xbox series controllers feel easier to press.

All I can say is they improved an already great controller. Battery life is way better than the first version and I like the improved grips your palms rest on. And for those upset that you can't change the batteries, I feel its now a mute point. They have a very long a generous USB-C charging cable and the controller has no issues being used while charging (unlike some that can tend to drop the signal when this occurs). The only odd thing both a friend and I have noticed (we purchased at the same time) is that the Xbox button can be a bit off when pressing to turn on/off and other functions. It seems the click point is not as centered as the pervious version and is s bit more toward the right bottom of the circle.

Good weight distribution, premium materials and customization accessories included. Would be nice in other colors or being able to swap out the faceplate, etc. Also, when storing the included USB charging cable in the case along with the controller itself it is advised to remove the sticks so that the cable doesn't potentially cause damage.

Look this thing isn’t cheap. If you’re a pro-level gamer, get it. Likes nice things, get it. Likes to have more options than you know what to do with it, get it. If none of that applies to you, don’t get it. The regular controller more than fits the bill for most gamers. Here’s a quick Pros/Cons list. Pros: -Incredible battery life -More customization features than the Series 1 Elite controller -Feels well built, great quality feeling -Built in dock-to-charge feature with charge enabled case Cons: -Pricey $$ -Slight learning curve with the new features, more so if this is your experience with this type of controller -Mostly likely you will never share this controller with anyone else lol

Purchased as a gift for use with a PC. The recipient of my gift tells me the quality on this controller is really good relative to some of the generic and off-brand versions.

The “pro” gamer setup of the controller - the paddles under the controller, swappable joysticks, adjustable triggers contribute to the solid feel of this controller. It has the feel of a premium controller, and rightfully so, considering the price tag attached to the Elite 2. Honestly, this controller isn’t for everyone; if you’re a casual gamer, you can probably save the money. If you’re an avid gamer, and one who plays a lot of first person shooters, give this controller a serious look. And if you have the disposable income - don’t hesitate to pick this controller up. Me personally - I like this controller so much, I’m considering picking another one up as a reserve controller.

My favorite controller also I’ve had nine in the course of four years

I found this to work very well with the PC games I use. However there were some automatic features that were enabled that caused pop-ups to occur when I used various control buttons or combinations. It was extremely annoying and game breaking and took time, effort and research to find how to remove the "features" and be able to play how I wanted. Since I got this specifically for the easy compatibility I was quite disappointed. The quality of the controller, fit, finish and feel are all excellent.

Excellent controller and very well built. Has become my go-to for PC gaming.
