I picked up this elite controller after a flood of recommendations from so many sources. I thought it would allow for some macros and other useful things through the use of the paddles but that didn't pan out. I really want to love this thing but it's hard to. The default vibration sounds like it's trying to saw itself in half. But props to them for allowing you to turn that down in the accessories app. You can make some fine tuning to your dead zones and joystick curves there as well. If you drop this controller, you'll get to pretend it's a Mr. Potato head and go hunting for the joysticks and the D pad insert. The levers on the back, as cool as they look, are useless at best and intrusive at their worst. They'd be useful if you could use them to macro together a combination of key presses or if they were a unique button recognized by game developers. But the only control you have over these things is what button to you want it to mimic. Or, realistically, what buttons do you want to accidentally press all the time? The handle grips are great and the triggers are nice as well. I like that the controller came with both a charging dock and a usb-c port. Battery life is good so far. Having the option to pick thumb sticks is a cool feature and one of the few unique aspects I think is actually useful. Being able to pick what Dpad you like is neat, but in a perfect world unless you're playing retro titles or fighting games I think it's of limited use. Unless new functionality gets added for the elite, I personally don't think it's worth it's asking price. I wouldn't buy it again. The elite is no where near 3x as nice as a standard controller but it's certainly 3x the price. If these were half the price, they'd be great.

Amazing controller helps a lot since you don’t have to move your fingers off your joy stick to press a b x y or anything on your d pad your also able to program the back pedals to many controllers and the multiple different joysticks help with aim and other things

I had bought this controller when it first came out and decided to get a 2nd one for my 2nd xbox series x. It's definitely a major upgrade from the elite series 1 controller. The rubber grips are better and I love how I'm able to change the tension on the thumb sticks. The quality is excellent. The ease of use is excellent. Very easy to set up and update and map the buttons to your liking. My only con about this controller is that's it's a little more expensive than the original elite controller with only a couple of upgrades. I would definitely recommend this to any hardcore or pro player.

This was my first elite controller and it really made a difference! Learning to map the buttons how you want is difficult at first but once you do it and adjust, you will notice a difference! My game play has been better and a lot of my online friends have noticed a difference. The grip makes it always a comfortable hold even during intense situations. Adjusting the trigger is amazing especially with shooter games, I have had people think I had a mod because my trigger finger with a pistol was incredible. Honestly these controllers are expensive, but well worth it in the long run if you are an avid gamer. Please buy the warranty with Best Buy, it's worth it in the long run.

the controller it self is amazing with the ability of swapping out the sticks is amazing but i really wished it was bluetooth to IOS apple unfortunately it’s not , which sucks because there’s many games out there that are supporting controllers, but this didn’t made the cut which is fine but would be an amazing game breaking moment, in all its a awesome controller i haven’t got any problems just yet, & the game pass bonus is quite amazing it self, in all, awesome controller would be amazing with the bluetooth connections as it can be taken to huge levels, in all amazing -B.

Nice weight to it. Excellent battery life. Hot-swappable sticks and paddles allow extensive customization. Adjustable triggers, adjustable torque on the sticks. Swappable D-pad. Paddle switches are metal, as well as the D-pads. Texturized rubber grips help reduce slipping, though it does not eliminate it completely. Charges on a USB-C type cable, so it won't work with other xbox controller charging cables. Nice case with it as well, and includes a pass-thru for the charging cable and a charging stand.

Controller is fantastic! After two years it has worked really well. Little stick drift in the right stick, but nothing that renders it unusable.

Eqsy to use and great feal best of all east to chage the buttons and fast charging i enjoy usimg this controller.....

Solid controller.. everything felt high quality and a lot of ways to customize.. the only reason i returned it is because i want to try a controller with paddles beside each other versus on top of each other...

Top Tier Gaming Controller, solid build. Does the job. They don’t make the regular ones like this anymore. Worth the extra bucks for a more solid build and accurate aiming.

Buttons on the bottom is a game changer! Replaceable thumb still customizable settings. Worth purchasing mostly with the warranty!

Love this controller. If you are thinking of upgrading your Xbox controller and deciding between this and an actual "SCUF" it is a toss up, BUT there are a few things about this that I like vs the SCUF. I like that the underbody paddles are over-under instead of side by side. It allows you to use your middle and ring fingers as opposed to the SCUF design which you have to move your middle finger back and forth to use. Also, it is compatible with all xbox compatible components which the SCUF isn't always apt to do. Lastly, this product is sexy. The charger, the carry case, the interchangeable buttons/joy sticks—everything is beautiful, durable, and nicely designed.

Excellent buy best controller ever I've had several of Xbox controllers that drift but this one hasn't.

I was afraid to pay this much money for a controller even though I play my Xbox a lot, but this controller is pretty nice. I enjoy it and it’s worth the money.

So far this controller has perfomed well despite negative reviews regarding stick drifting. I come from using the Razer Wolverine Tournament edition and still enjoy that controller, but its just something about having the option to play wirelessly and still getting decent performance results makes my gameplay experience so much more enjoyable. I also do prefer the back paddles and adjustable stick tention over the Razer as well. Hopefully the quality lasts long.
