If you've used the Series 1 Elite Controller, you know all the benefits it has over the standard Xbox One controllers. The paddles will change the way you play shooters if you just take the little bit of time to get used to them. The Series 2 controller makes the paddles a bit more tactile and they have more of a click to them. The thumbsticks have 3 levels of tension adjustment to make them feel like a default Xbox One controller, an Xbox 360 controller, or something in between. The bumpers have been improved, and the new grips are built in a way to where they won't expand and fall off like the old version did. The Elite Series 1 controller was the best controller I ever used and my favorite to play with, but this controller has replaced the old version. I would definitely recommend this controller to anyone who enjoys playing competitive shooters and wants to take their game to the next level.

If you want a controller that feels like something a pro gamer would use, this is it. Very comfortable, and has support for additional inputs and interchangeable joysticks and D-Pad. However, my LB button is already breaking within a year of use. It still responds, but I have to put additional effort into pressing it. Also, the clips/magnets on the back that hold the pedal buttons break easily. It’s great while it lasts, so hopefully Microsoft invests in sturdier materials. This is an expensive item for something that breaks down quickly.

This is is my 2nd elite purchase. As with all controllers there will be wear and stick drift, but I can’t think about playing with something other than an elite.

I love the feel of this controller. The extra buttons have a bit of a learning curve, as well as setup. This controller adds plenty of customization for the hardcore gamer.

Love how you can Customize your buttons to the back paddles easily through the app and plenty of joysticks and able to tighten the joysticks and accessories to find the one you like. Did get stick drift relatively fast but I do use it a lot.

The controller it self is a piece of art, confortable 110%, fully customizable, feels great to the touch. Only problem so for is the Bluetooth that keeps disconnecting randomly

Not great quality. Buttons often stick and has bad stick drift. Returned two and am on my third. I personally do not like how heavy and cumbersome it is. However, the paddles are nice and the Xbox logo lights up.

Very sturdy. Doesn’t feel cheap. Nice weight, that makes you feel like you’re really in the game. Built in battery is very convenient and long lasting. Customizing and tweaking to your preferences makes it the best available controller out there.

Definitely not the perfected version, but the elite offers improved comfort, functionality, and durability that comp and pro players need.

I debated on this for years and i would always say to myself i don't want to spend that much on a controller. The sticks started falling apart on my last one and i asked a friend that raved about the elite if it was worth it. He said you won't have to buy another controller for life. I broke down and got it and before unboxing it i was impressed with the package. This thing feels great. Very impressed and pleased with purchase. I regret not getting it sooner.

When new, the controller works fantastically. Key phrase is WHEN NEW. This is the 3rd elite controller that I am now going to have to replace because of stick drift, sticky buttons, and the headphone jack not working. Each controller started showing these issues just a few months in. You're probably thinking "Okay no problem, I'll just pay for the Best Buy 2 year warranty, then I can get a new controller whenever I want". HAHA good luck EVER finding them in stock. THEY WON'T EVEN ORDER THEM FROM MICROSOFT FOR YOU. My controller has been a piece of garbage for a couple of months now, but can't get it replaced thanks to Best Buy's constant lack of inventory on them. I have the listing bookmarked and check daily to see if they have any in stock, and they never do. Overall I do NOT recommend this controller for any gamer. Only reason I gave two stars is the controller is very nice when its brand new out of the box. However, you will regret it when you pay this much money and are without a useable controller for months at a time, after only using the thing for a couple of months.

Excellent feel and quality. Will buy again! This meets my needs for a much better price than the Elite 2.
